We was recommend this restaurant so after checking out the previous reviews, which were all quite good decided to give it a go. When our driver picked us up he asked why we were going here ? Bit of a red flag if the local...guy wasn’t very reassuring about the place. But we had arranged to meet a friend there so went with it. On arrival the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, but that was where the good experience ended. It was very slow service but we were not in a rush so we went with it But after nearly 2 1/2 hours we had received one drink so we went up and asked if we could have more drinks and inquired if we would receive our starter soon The waitress said our starter were coming immediately and she would take our drinks order The starters arrived so we tucked in to some very disappointing food my shrimp salad bowl was ok but had about 5 tiny shrimp in , my wife’s and friends spring rolls were very over cooked and not very edible, my motet-in-laws Gado-Gado was really quite disgusting (and I will eat pretty much anything) at this point we decided to call it quits at 3 hours now and still no more drinks We approach the counter and was very polite in explaining that we would pay for what we had eaten but to cancel our mains as we would be leaving. They seemed quite shocked and surprised by this and said that the food was on its way, we very politely said we no longer wanted the food and a bill for what we had, had so far was all we required. We was then presented with a bill which also had a service charge added which I have to say totally shocked and amused me at the same time.More
