Went for lunch, it was well spaced out ( giving social distancing) I had poached eggd another had eggs Benedict & another a Turkish bread. All good, good service. I would only say they could have bigger glassed for water ( I drink a lot...of water). I would happily go back again.More

It is quite a few years now since I reviewed this cafe. Still fantastic, great service and atmosphere. Food fresh and delicious. I had pumpkin ravioli and it was to die for. Beautifully prepared and cooked. Top marks all round!

We meet some friends here for breakfast, we all had different items and drinks from the menu, this is a great place for breakfast and it’s always busy people were queuing to get in. I had the eggs benedict and I have say I was...impressed.More

I had a vegetarian focaccia here with my coffee. Both were excellent. Outside was a bit crowded, but there were tables inside free and I found a quiet area on my own. Prices for food seemed high, but they were matched by the quality. Service...was prompt, but I was not offered waterMore

Our party of four had a wonderful brunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It’s a very popular spot though so definitely not quiet!

My son booked a table for his birthday brunch on a Sunday. He emailed and received a confirmation from the manager. We arrived on time to be told that we don't have your booking. My son showed the confirmation on his phone and their reply...was that "this happens all the time." We were ushered to a table near the walkway with no table covering, while all the 'booked' area had table coverings, flowers and set tables. Staff were not very friendly and coffee was only just warm, even though we ordered it volcanic hot. Food was ok, but potato rosti cooked too fast in too hot an oil, so was overdone on the outside and raw on the inside. When we went to pay they would not split the bill 50/50 with cash card. said they would only do it during the week. No signs to verify that. Next time I will walk out and say "you can accept payment 50/50 (some guests had no CC) or we will walk out! This is my second time here and I am unimpressed as the first time I visited. Would not bother going back and giving them $220 for our group. Sorry but you won't be Friends of Mine any longer.More

We had a family lunch at this cafe and I was very disappointed with the meal I ordered . It was the salmon. But it was so over cooked and dry that it was totally unappealing. The rest of the family’s meals were ok but...nothing that we couldn’t get at most local cafes . I hate also paying a 10 per cent surcharge on a Sunday which makes a cup of coffee almost $5.More

A great place for Saturday or Sunday brunch. Service is friendly and the menu is varied. Food is well prepared and nicely presented, but perhaps just a bit too expensive for what it is. Would have been 4*, but there was a 10% surcharge on...a Sunday that didn’t seem justified (and wasn’t disclosed in advance)More

Another rather lovely place in the inner city for a pot of tea, or coffee. Friendly staff and quite a pleasant location. Not too busy either.
