I visited Burnely Brewing yesterday with a large group. It was on the eve of a public holiday and the venue was very busy. Burnley Brewing has three public sections: some outdoor tables; a taproom with booth style seating and a few sets of high tables and stools; and a beirhall where our group gathered around a long, high table with stools and what appeared to be an even larger group with two sets of lower tables and stairs. They had some very nice German styled beers. I had a Bohemian Pilsner and and a Dortmunder Export Lager. We then had a semi-structured tasting consisting of a Marzen, a Kristall Weizen, a Bock, a Gose, and a Schwarzbeir. Later I had a German IPA (I just had to know, you know). A few of the people around me had a very generous serving of Chicken Parmagiana with chips and salad which they made short work of. Apparently it was very good. I didn't order a meal but I did order a Bretzel which was quite nice and went extremely well with the beer. I also got a can of the Schwarbeir to take home.

We called in for drinks but ended up staying for dinner. I had the wood-fired seafood pizza with added olives and my friend had the vegetarian pizza. Both pizzas were really good. We tried several different craft beers of whicgh the smoked sour beer and a banana infused beer were my least favourites.

We booked this venue for craft beers but ended up staying for dinner. Easy to reach by tram. I caught the 75 tram and got off at stop 22. Venue has nice ambiance and plenty of light. We had tasting paddles to start with then moved on to pints of craft beer. The tasting paddles are a great way to taste some of the different beers on tap. For dinner I had the capricossia pizza and my friend who is a vegetarian had the eggplant pizza. Both pizzas were excellent. I was told that they are wood fired pizzas. No doubt we will come back again some time.

So appalled. For second time we had the exact same experience by the same person. We asked the girl by the entrance (who was taking bookings) if there were tables available to which we knew would be a long shot considering they had Dingo Ate My Taco on-site (the first time was for dinner and drinks a few weeks back) and as I guessed it every table was booked out, which we respected and accepted. So instead we decided to do take away and after placing the order the same girl that was greeting patrons by the front door literally insisted my family of four to go for a walk (it was pissing down) and come back “later on” to collect our order because she didn’t want us standing around inside the venue or blocking the footpath outside. The shock came as she allowed other groups to wait inside so that they can be “dry”. We have never encountered any mistreatment at any establishments but the eye rolls and the quick “no” we got from the young door girl was definitely something new to us. Did our ethnicity (and darker complexion) have a part in how we were treated visibly differently in the most unfair way? I’ve never experienced racism but I have seen it take place first hand and for the first time I felt my family was the recipient of that. So much so that patrons nearby made mention of it. To add insult our order, when received, was short. I do have to add, the rest of the staff, including the man at the bar and the other waitress was AMAZINGLY friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I tried a passion fruit sour (THE BEST I've ever had), a mango sour and a peach lager. I am not hugely in to beers but I was a fan of what they had brewed. Friendly staff gave us samples before buying. Pots were $7 (sour), then dearer as the glass size went up.

A nice place, good service. The beers were okay, but didn't stand out in the way that other beers I have do. Still, not a bad place and I'd certainly be coming back.

A simple but tasty menu in comfortable surroundings. It doesn't smell like a brewery can so it was pleasant even for the non-beer drinkers. Loved the summer ale!

I was welcomed as I entered and invited to taste the beers before making my selection. A friendly discussion ensued and I chose a beer just right for my taste. The price was well to my liking and the blues music in the background was relaxing, too. The place is large inside, but the booths are private and comfortable. I did not feel like i was in a barn as some breweries seem to be. I will certainly return. When I left, the place had filled up, but I had not noticed the others.

Food fine, staff pleasant & prompt ( but not crowded ! ). Fairly basic food but tasty. Lots of onsite brewed beer to try, including tasting glasses. Fine for a quick casual meal.

Had several German beers and a meal at Burnley Brewing whilst attending trivia. The beers were good and varied and the meal was tasty and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient with a nice atmosphere. The decor is basic but spacious and will visit again soon.

My partner and I decided to pop in here for lunch because of the good reviews and also because he loves craft beer. We were not disappointed at all, the service was great, the food was amazing and my partner was in love with the beer selection! He has a burger and I got a chicken salad, also had a Hawaiian pizza on the side. All were so delicious and we were satisfied. My partner got the paddle of beer and love every single one of them. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to everyone! 🤗🤗

Table for one, reserved through OpenTable because I wasn’t sure how busy it would be on a Saturday evening. There were two open tables when I got there at 7:30; when I left at 9 there were no open spaces except at the bar. Food is standard pub fare, served pretty quickly; beer rotates, and this evening they did not have anything especially dark on tap (which is too bad, I would have enjoyed a good stout with my burger). Their pale ale is quite decent; the Vienna lager was excellent.
