Bar 44 continues to be consistently excellent. The combination of regular tapas and some specials provides plenty of choice. The lamb meatballs are a favourite - and always 2 portions needed. Service is friendly.

There is a free car park behind the town hall or a small carpark on the same side as barr 44 on the first turning left. Have nice time.

Parking is available outside for disabled BUT the bar is first floor up steep steps so NOT suitable for anyone of limited mobility especially as toilets are 2nd floor! Main parking is in public car park a few minutes stroll... More
