We drop in here regularly on a weekend for breakfast as it is fairly cheap and the eggs benedict is lovely. If you want poached eggs that are always perfectly done then this is the place to go. The staff are always friendly and greet us. Give this place a go, even if just for the fantastic cakes and sandwiches... More

Popped in for a quick drink and a cake. A bit over priced and painfully slow. Waited over 25 minutes for 3 drinks and 3 cakes. Which were okay, nothing more. Not really worth the wait. We would have walked out but you have to pay as you order, so we gad to sit it out. One of our party... More

Waited over an hour for 3 baguette and a breakfast! Drinks came 30 mins before food which meant cold tea when the food arrived. Service was poor to say the least, asked for drinks at their cost which never turned up. Food was ok.

Visited for lunch with a friend and my daughter. Food was great; the coronation chicken is amazing. But I had to clear my own table from previous customers as the waiter bought our food and left the old plates on the table!! We were there about 90 minutes and the tables near to us were still dirty when we left.... More

I enjoy the atmosphere of Rochester and love coming back now and then. I was visiting my brother and his wife and had my 2 (adult) children with me. I had been looking forward to a typical full English breakfast on my visit and this place was suggested. The outside belies the interior. You have to pass a whole array... More

Terrible service. Get the sandwiches wrong regularly, massively over priced. Long waits n no rhyme or reason to their queuing system. Such a shame as it used to be great. I'll never return or recommended.

The eggs benedict is sublime. The eggs are always perfectly cooked and you can have the dish with a number of additions e.g. Spinach salmon sausage ham. The hollandaise sauce is smooth and tasty. However there are loads of other tasty dishes to choose from. Very good service - my peppermint tea didn't taste right. The manager tried to work... More

Winter warming hot chocolates are a must here on a cold winters day in Rochester. The baguettes were very delicious with plenty of salad on the side. Lovely cakes and pastries too- so many to chose from. Great service.

Enjoyed walk around Rochester Castle & call in for a snack, had jacket with chilli & cheese plus cheese & tomato panini both of which were great... Only down side was the place was a little untidy, tables not cleared 15 minutes after people had left, & it wasn't busy!!
