Had a couple of great meals there. You can step up to the bar and have pint with locals. If you like a meal they have a changing menu, which gives you a chance to visit many times without the same menu.

Lovely cozy dinner for our family when we visited the area during our visit to Ireland. The food and dessert were great. The Irish coffees were also very well done. It is surprising to find such good food at such a little bitty place. We will return again!

We stayed in a roomy cottage with friends and ate at the Seanachai multiple times. Beef/Guinness & Irish stews were a favourite. The ambiance was warm, service was excellent and sooo friendly! It felt like family. Sit by the fire and experience Irish hospitality

We have been here a few times, and ended up with the most well cooked prawns, sole, plaice and even lamb dish. We were most impressed by the size and recipes of the fish and shellfish dishes. The Manager was around all the time, and the Staff were very attentive and alert to ones requirements. It is a lovely place,... More

We stayed in the cottages for 7 nights and spent many evenings here for food and drink. Mags, Johnnie and their staff were attentive and treated us like family. Do not miss the music on Friday night, a very authentic and memorable night. Make sure you know at least one song because everybody is expected to contribute!

dined here at 5pm midweek.I opted for seafood chowder and the chicken supreme which were of excellent quality. My partner went for the Guinness stew, which had lashings of beef and beautifully cooked.Service was a bit slow ,but it was off peak time which would probably explain it.Big improvements here since a previous visit.Certainly worth a visit.

Lovely place, absolutely gorgeous food, went for a Sunday dinner (after much deliberation we chose the roast) and it was beautiful. No waiting around either chose what we wanted and sat down to eat straight away. Excellent decent sized portions as well :) my plate was nothing but a shell of a man when I was finished with it, only... More

Friendly people and good food. Genuinely old kitchen and lovely atmosphere. It's so near Ring it's a pity the wait staff had no Irish.
