I liked the restaurant. Pros: Food was fine. Tried both veg and non-veg dishes. Breads were soft so loved it. Furthermore, great desert. Cons: Portion was too small so I will count this restaurant under expensive category.

I agree with one of the frank review given here below that Kaveri is better than the average Indian restaurants in Paris and nothing special other than the clean environment with nice interior decorations. Only Tandoori chicken seemed to have taste more than the average. Chicken Biryani was ok and little better than other places. We ordered a saucy dish... More

OK types menu. Had vegetarian food twice. Non-veg was slightly better (based on feedback of others). Overall ambience is very good...but food not quite upto the mark. The chef is not authentic indian for sure. Samosa had too much of oil. The restaurant ambience though is very good and worth a visit.

We visited Le Kaveri last week and had a very nice dinner there. The food was great, very authentic north Indian food (we ordered chicken tikka, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, naan, and gajar halwa). The owners also suggested we try the cheese naan which is a dish created by their family, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was... More

Coming from Bay Area in California was skeptical at first based on the reviews, however pleasantly surprised. Ordered Bara kabab - goat leg BBQ which was a great appetizer, also tried Rogan josh and chapati (gr8 combo), both were customized to Indian taste ( spicy - not overly and perfectly cooked meat). I was hoping for biryani but was upfront... More

Me and my husband had a dinner there a week ago or so. Unfortunately, I can't agree with those who write there's something special about this restaurant, for me it's just an average Indian place: fish and seafood is frozen, biryani (a South Indian spicy rice) is sticky because the cook is probably of North Indian/Pakistani origin. The soups are... More

Beautiful environment with ample space to sit and gossip without getting disturbed of the neighbouring table! Moreover, it seemed to be really convenient as they have complementary parking for all their guests. We were quite well welcomed and greeted with festive environment of the December month. The food we had was delicious and it is a definite place to try... More

I generally avoid Indian restaurants in France, because they're often so disappointing. The Kaveri came as a great surprise. The biryani I had was really excellent, fragrant and delicious. The mixed grill starter was great, and the Indian vegetables (spinach, Dahl and aubergine) were perfect. I'll definitely go back.
