This small restaurant is real local restaurant for locals, where they have their lunch. Meals are not cooked on order, but are ready waiting you, so you can have lunch quickly also. We had fish for lunch, it was good, well cooked. Service for good, only available in Spanish or local dialect. Ordering was easy, you point what you wanted... More

It was recommended to us by a local who said it was a great place to get local Panamanian food. The food was great and the people were very friendly.

A very nice cafeteria with a good selection of Panamanian food. Try on of the "chicas" or juice instead of soda. The chicken stew was excellent. Great budget palce!

A small Panamanian Creole restaurant that is cafeteria style. Once you tell them what you want, they pile on the food and serve it to you after you're seated. The food is absolutely delicious! We had to go back for breakfast and were not disappointed. Still can't believe the prices. VERY REASONABLE! They are only open for breakfast and lunch... More

Great places for a good local creole breakfast. It is affordable and if you are in the center of the town it is at walking distance. Friendly environment and very close to the town market for fruits and souvenirs.

Panamean food, cheap, local. Clean place. Had a chat with the owner, an old lady, impressed her restaurant was in a travel guide! She was happy to speak with us (in Spanish).

We stopped in for lunch after hiking up to see the Piedra Pintada. This tiny little cafeteria style restaurant is the bomb!!! I had barbecued chicken with rice and beans; he had baked chicken with rice, beans, and the potato salad. You would have thought it was our last meal! We couldn't eat fast enough -- it was sooooo good.... More

Dona Nella's is a fine place for a cheap cafeteria style breakfast, lunch or very early dinner. We had breakfast there 2 times. It is definitely cheap, convenient and fast. Do not expect above average Panamenian food. Expect to get decent food at fonda prices.

Five us us stopped for lunch as everything else in the area was at least $10 a plate and we couldn't see the food. Here, we were greeted and we saw the cafeteria style lunch had 4 different choices of meat (pork chops, broiled chicken, fried chicken and a stewed beef) accompanied by white rice, arroz con pollo, spaghetti and... This restaurant is cafeteria style with pleasant enough indoor seating, Not particulary charming, but, clean. I choose a very small fried red snapper and a small portion of fried rice with seafood (includes shells--watch out!). Adequate, but certainly nothing special. Price: $6,25. They do give patrons a large pitcher of cold drinking water (as to most of the restaurants here... More
