The satays are probably not the best in Penang but reliably fresh and tasty. Pizzas are reasonably priced and good . Garlic prawns fabulous and the pancakes a great way to end an evening feast. The indian is good too

We have visited Battu Ferringhi on several occasions and each time we are drawn to the Lon Beach street food markets for our evening meal as it provides excellent food at very cheap prices. It is an economical alternative to the hotel restaurants which in...More

Love the variety. Satay are one of my favourites. Everything is reasonably priced .. it is a hawkers market. Always seems rather busy though have never had a trouble getting a table.

This was a wonderful introduction to food in Penang. Tables in the middle. Food stalls around the outside. You find a table then select dishes from any of the stalls. The emphasis is on local food, but you can get pizza or kebabs if you...More

The prawn Mee aka Hokkien Mee is excellent. Asam laksa is a disappointment. The grilled stingray is good too but a bit pricey. There are a variety of food like - pancakes, pizza, pasta, North Indian food, wan tan Mee, lobak, fried noodles to name...More

They start operating after 6pm, lots of space before 7pm, gets crowded after that. Food is reasonably tasty but nothing to shout about. The prawn noodles soup was, imo, the nicest in the food centre. Convenient place for dinner if you stay in Batu Feringghi,...More

Description
Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
