After a not too pleasant lunch "try" at the highly praised neighbouring brunch place, we didn't expect much from this plain, but obviously not for "white-guests-only" tailored food place. We only stopped by for a late lunch but were made to feel very welcome. We only had omelettes and banana fritters but they were well cooked.

We called here one night for a meal but it was raining and the only seats were in the open so we went back the following evening and had a lovely meal. It is very basic but service was good and food was delicious although we recommended it to friends but they didn't enjoy it so don't know if it... More

Great meal, good price, excellent service. Best Spring Rolls I've had, Noodle soup also very good. "If the food is good, you come back. If not good, you don't come back!" We're going back...

Visited here many times mainly for drinks but had a meal on our first night, the gentleman and his daughter that run the place are very friendly and welcoming. Everybody unfortunately compares all the restaurants and cafes to long beach where the food is very tasty and very cheap, the surrounding restaurants cannot obviously compete with them as they have... We have now eaten in a few places during our stay but this one was found wanting. Front of house very friendly but the food lacked quality and flavour. My wife opted for fish and chips, as she is temporarily curried out, crinkle cut straight from the freezer, and lacking in quantity. I had beef and green pepper, only flavour... More

My sister and I visited Guan Guan tonight and I can honestly say it's the best Chinese meal we have ever had. Fabulous satay, scrumptious sambal prawns and sizzling chicken. What a treat!
