A pleasant place to stop in a very pleasant small quiet town. The main focus here is obviously on the food, which is excellent. The rooms are spacious and adequate but if they had the same attention to detail as the cuisine this place would be truly excellent

We stayed overnight in Mimosa Lodge and had an amazing Christmas dinner. a seven course - vegetarian- meal with a wine selection. Everything was magnificent. The service and house wines in particular.

We stayed here for one night to break our journey back to Cape Town. We booked the Orchard suite which had its own garden and champane pool (a small round plunge pool) plus a terrace, downstairs lounge and upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The minbar of this suite is included in the room price and had a good selection of wine,... More

The food and the service are quite simply excellent. I have eaten in the restaurant before and love their 4 course menu paired with the lovely Mimosa Wines. It is expensive, but worth the expense. The staff are very attentive, and are a real asset to Mimosa Lodge. You would think that they own the place as they have so much... More

Promised much - disappointing delivery. Unimaginative Unexciting set menu with very average cooking quality and over-priced.

I wrote a review yesterday but forgot something. Please allow me to add. Having mentioned the glorious food, which I stand by, they do charge a good fee for these dinners so you have to be ready for that. What really troubled me when it came to checking out, they added "5 bottles of mineral water" to our bill. Now... More

We had one night at Mimosa Lodge. Very pleasant room. Really large with a lovely large bathroom, with bath and separate shower. We got a great welcome at reception. Staff were very extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the multiple award winning restaurant. It was really beautiful, more expensive than others nearby but... We stayed one night at this B and B lodge where also dinner is served. Our accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent, nothing was missing on the breakfast table. Good service at this hotel and beautiful views of the mountains. A good stay to break the journey when you travel to Cape Town.
