Our first time to Lillinos and we're impressed. First, the food was wonderful. It's a set menu that offers a choice of courses, with a two or three course option. Pasta was clearly handmade and fresh. Every course was a taste trip through the italian...countryside. The wife had the Gnocchi, which came in a Gorgonzola cheese sauce, which we highly recommend. Wines were local, delightful, and very reasonably priced. Matched perfectly to the pasta. Staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive, and the view spectacular. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning to Lillino and if recommend this restaurant without hesitation.More

While this restaurant may be a little off the beaten track it is well worth the effort to find it. It has an authentic Sicilian/ Italian menu and the food is really good and smells wonderful on arrival. Recently a minimum price for 2 or...3 courses has been introduced but it is very reasonable by Hunter Valley standards. Some of the Estate wines are exceptional and worth trying. The setting is beautiful overlooking the valley set amongst olive trees. Sit inside or out and there is room for kids to play outside on the grass. Worth a visitMore

Having previously been a regular at Lillino’s, it had been a few years since my wife and I had dined here, so having a chance to stay a night in the Hunter, we of course choose Lillino’s to eat at. And this time we were...able to introduce our 2 young children to the food. The food was just as we remembered, simply fantastic and authentic! Again the gnocchi with cheese sauce a standout….just perfectly cooked. Beef ragout special had loads of flavour. My son, who can be a bit picky, loved his pizza and ate almost the whole thing. My daughter was reluctant to let me even taste the spaghetti bolegnese, she thought it was so good. Overall the service was great, the food was excellent, so Lillino’s still remains a hidden gem for food in the Hunter Valley.More

The food was excellent! Lovely, fresh, Italian cuisine. Unfortunately the serving size of the meals and the extremely slow service lets this place down. We waited over an hour between entree & mains.

Absolutely superb! Delicious food, great wine, fantastic service. To top it off, we’d walked as we were in a villa nearby and the heavens opened while dining. Paulo had noticed we had walked up and offered to drive us back: an offer which we enthusiastically...accepted. Top, top quality: massive recommendation!More

I've been dining at Lillanos a few times a year for at least 8 years, maybe more. I was & remained amazed at the beautiful food, friendly relaxed service & incredible views!! All this hasn't changed, but the restaurant has been enhanced. Luigi has been...a fantastic host !! Today my family had their Xmas party & again the amazing food didn't disappoint! Plus outstanding service in making sure everyone was satisfied. We spilled out onto the large lawn, which was perfect for the kids & taking in the panoramic views. Perfect!! Thanks Luigi, Paula, Paulo & all the other fantastic staff. Who make every visit quite specialMore

🍽️ Had an amazing time at Lillinos tonight! 🌟 Started with the calamari – crispy and tender, a perfect appetizer. The gnocchi was like a little taste of Italy, and the stuffed chicken was simply mouthwatering. And that dessert? A true masterpiece! 👌 The flavors,...the presentation, everything was on point. 5/5, will definitely be returning for more exquisite dining experiences. 🍷🍴 First Creek chardonnay always the prefect wine with Italian cuisine #LillinosRestaurant #FoodieAdventures #DeliciousDiningMore

Lovely atmosphere & staff however poor value for money & poor service. Clearly understaffed. Waited nearly an hour for each of our 2 set courses. $65 set price with no al-a-carte option.

What a lovely find we’ll known by locals but as we are not that familiar with the area it was a pleasant surprise. Luigi whom runs the restaurant was a delight we couldn’t have asked for a better host the restaurant is Italian with that...special Sardinia influence. The food was superb we received suggestions from paulo which we went with his co worker pauloni was also exceptional. They even do take sways pizza pastas etcMore

Was really looking forward to the food. The garlic prawn pizza was fantastic. That’s where it started and ended. The pasta was appalling. The pasta was the worst thing I have ever tasted. The prawns weren’t even intact. We waited over an hour to get...our entree and then another hour for our mains. We weren’t offered an apology or even a glass of house wine for the delay. Then was charged full wack at $65 a head for 2 courses. Can’t say I could ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. Was very disappointedMore

Beautiful food and amazing service. I would highly recommend. The waitress knew their menus was enthusiastic and passionate about the food and the dining experience. The chef was equally as passionate about his food, you could tell by the flavours and love that went into...the meal. It’s on a vineyard feels like a little slice of Italy in the Hunter ValleyMore

Children are very welcome, we are a family restaurant, we don’t have children menus but our food is very adaptable and we make half portions in all our pastas except for gnocchi and risotto.
