We stayed here for 4 days and got first class treatment from arriving at the airport through to dropping us off at the airport for our return flight. After paying our daily tax and picking up the luggage we were met by a member of...More

Great food and wine! I had read reviews on TripAdvisor and decided I wanted to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Make sure you get there between 7/7:30pm as you can't make reservations (we were turned away the first night we tried to...More

Make sure to always ask for the fish to be "not very cooked", so it comes just perfect. If you do not say anything everyone in Brazil will overcook fish, seafood and all meats! Otherwise, the food and drinks were great!

Hidden amongst the jungle, at the foot of the rock and a short walk to the beach you will find the most sweet and beautiful beach hut-style rooms. I love this hotel and it will always have the fondest memories.

The food is delicious and beautifully presented - we had grilled wild prawns with pineapple on delicate funghi risotto, and a wonderful prawn risotto with truffle oil. The caipirinhas are not to be missed!

Teju Açu is not easy to find. Don't let the rough road approaching the restaurant turn you off. It's worth find it and making it all the way. The restaurant has that nice island look, the service is by far the friendliest and most informed,...More

To my taste, this was the very best restaurant in the island. We shared an excellent steak tartar to start, then had the shrimp and white fish Moqueca for two. The desert was Romeu & Julieta petit gateau: to die for!

With Chef Maurice Jasnievicz having improved his techniques at the renowned restaurant Astrid & Gaston in Lima - Peru returns as Executive Chef of the Eco Pousada Teju-Acu introducing the molecular gastronomy within the island giving focus to the Teju-Açu style in a creative process through the cultivation of special sprouts and edible flowers as well as having the smoking process applied to our dishes as well as the fish caught by clients and guests. Teju-Acu and The Chef Mauricio are in favor of the use of grown organic products from our own vegetable garden where the customer interacts and have their questions answred as well as to contemplate each item that carefully goes in every dish as a culinary work of art only found within the exclusiveness of the Eco Pousada Teju-Açu.
