We ate at El Sibarita multiple times during our stay at Posada del Tepozteco, including breakfasts, dinners, and a handful of lunches or snacks. The breakfast was a great way to start off the day, with an array of sweet, savory, lighter, and heavier options for everyone. The green juice was a personal favorite. Dinners were very good, with the... More

Avoid this at all costs. I don't say this lightly but I have never had such a terrible dining experience. We have been in Mexico a couple of weeks, and decided to end our trip in Tepoztlan which is beautiful and I recommend you pay it a visit. However, do not go to this restaurant. Having decided to take my... More

Having dealt with the chaos that is Carnaval for a day and a half, we thought having dinner above it all might be a pleasant change for our last night in town. And we certainly weren't disappointed! With the exception of a family of four, we had the restaurant to ourselves and enjoyed a placid dinner of tasty entrees. Impossible... More

Dear Neil, We are glad you had enjoyed your placid dinner in Posada Del Tepozteco. In fact, we have tasty entrees with the best view of the valley and the mountains and we hope you can return to spend some days with us in the "Magic Town" of Tepoztlan. Best regards, More

We ate lunch at the Posada del Tepozteco on a recent trip and were reluctant to leave. We were warmly greeted by Maritere, shown to a table on the patio and encouraged to explore the beautiful hotel property, which we enjoyed doing. Our quiche was very tasty, the service was fine and the views were postcard spectacular. We will definitely... More

This restaurant may have one of the most beautiful settings in all of Mexico. The food is very good. Try the mole, or the steak. The service is also exceptional. And be sure to order a margrita or three. They make the best. Take a stroll through the garden too. Perhaps the best part is the price. You get four... More

I don't understand the good reviews for this restaurant. The views are fabulous. Unfortunately, neither the service nor the food come close to matching the surroundings. At lunch, restaurant relatively empty, each course took ages to come out. We waited and waited. Drinks took forever. Every request took forever. Luckily, we weren't in a hurry and had a killer view... More

The service, you will find, is excellent. The manager even came over and explained to me how to eat a local dish...the sacred Aztec blossoms. It was a wonderful experience

My wife and I went and had dinner tonight. The atmosphere is very cozy and has a magnificent view of the village and mountains. We started off with the jicama salad. It was flavorful, fresh, and large enough for the two of us to share. The entrées were a mix of traditional with some contemporary. My wife had the chili... More

I stayed here so eating here was handy and very good. Since i like jicama salad, I ordered it for dinner one night. It was so good with oranges and I think a citrus dressing. Breakfast is also good with a variety egg dishes, fruit plates and even hot cakes if you want a change. Service is a little slow... More
