My husband and I visited today for an early dinner. This restaurant has tables that overlook the water, and is small and cozy. The sushi was fresh and creative. The Storm Roll was covered in an arugula salad with sprouts and other goodies. The service was professional yet friendly. BEWARE of Desserts!!! Although they have items like Lemon sorbet and... Haven't been here in a couple years. Sadly no better. Sashimi is dry and flavorless. Compare this to red hooks raw bar where they have excellent fish. The rice is wet. Best dish is wasabi tobiko. The dim sum is deep fried so beware. The view is nice but it is warm as there is little breeze.

Sure is a hellofa view!! The roll w the truffles, if was OK. Tasted more like a spaghetti roll. LOL. Husband had the road somethin roll, was better!!! All the other nagiri was great. We wanted something local, but all of it was flown in. The waitress did say that there were local specials during the one season. The cocktails... More

The sushi was good (not the best I ever had), but it did satisfy my sushi craving. I did like the idea of serving a salad over some of the sushi options. The service was good and the drinks were quite strong. I had a moscow muler and felt a good buzz after just one drink. They were also very... More

Super Good! Waterfront setting but a bit hard to find, but totally worth the search. Very nice waitresses and excellent dinner and dessert. Highly recommended!

I have been traveling back and forth from St. Thomas for business for over two years now, and Enkai Sushi has always been my favorite spot. They have everything from fresh, traditional rolls to crazy, innovative rolls with stuff like tempura bacon and duck confit! The girl in charge there, I think her name is Katie, is a freakin foodie... More

I came here with a group of family and friends last summer for a sushi feast, and we all really enjoyed our food. The sushi is good enough, although they are way too fond of sprinkling those little fried onion crunches all over everything! What's up with that?Nevertheless, it was a good meal! One thing we didn't care for is... More

Hello! Thank you for your review for our restaurant from a year ago. You must have an awesome memory! For the past two years we have been in transition since the previous owner just left the island one day, literally, and never came back. I made a choice to take over the business, so no one would lose their jobs.... More

This place is a diamond in the rough! Deliciously fresh sushi that rivals anything on the mainland. I have a gluten sensitivity and they checked ingredients and prepared items to be gluten free by making small modifications. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

During our recent one week stay on the island, we visited Enkai twice. Found the food to be delicious, well prepared and creatively plated. The first visit was quiet so the service was attentive and almost too quick. During the second visit, we had to wait at the bar until the server could accommodate us (empty table, but as she... Live in St Thomas for 8 years and this was my favorite sushi place for years. Went about 6 months ago and was not the same. Yesterday took my visiting family there and hands down the worst I had ever !! To start the special drinks was horrible. The soup uneatable und the spice tuna roll old. The top was... More

Hello, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear your experience wasn't the best however, you violated TripAdvisor guidelines by posting two reviews from the same party.
