Fantastic cafe, once you work out how to order. Menu and help yourself food counter takes getting used too but it is worth it. Great home made food, bread and cakes.

I love this place. It is quirky and friendly. We went for lunch and cake and both were fabulous. I will definitely be going again! Love a dog friendly place too as hate leaving him at the holiday cottage. The falafel wrap was amazing and the cakes all looked fantastic! Thank you so much and see you soon

Looking for a place to eat in Porthmadog, we stumbled upon the Big Rock Café. This is an alternative wholefood café and bakery in the middle of the high street with a very homely and informal atmosphere. It was lovely to come in off a cold street and sit by a warm fire. The staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

I got told by a very rude man behind the counter that there was no gluten free options only low gluten. I said to... More

The cafe features delicious and inventive food, kind and thoughtful staff and a well looked-after establishment. Very good for kids with some excellent menu choices - I would definitely recommend them. It's also great to see a Christian business which is passionate about both God and food!

Popped in for a coffee and cake Which were great and I couldn't resist there tempting range of breads so bought a loaf of bread the best bread we have tasted. Wished we lived nearer but Devon is a long way to go to buy bread .

Visiting the area on a busy work Schedule and this little gem was exactly what myself and colleagues needed on a lunch break. Staff are lovely and food is delicious. Worth a visit!
