Served by a lovely friendly lady called Alison. This is a lovely place and food good. Do eat here fairly regularly. Views beautiful. Nice and warm too. Only real complaint are the portion sizes, sorry. We all ordered different dishes and different starters from the lunch menu of 2 courses. To be honest we all left hungry. My portion of... More

Waterside offers a range of food, morning coffees, snacks and full meals. A function suite is situated next door. There is outside seating and lovely views across the water. Plenty of parking available.

Myself, wife and 2 of our friends ate in Waterside Hotel restaurant and we were a bit disappointed in the standard of the food that we were served , it was hotel prices but we felt it was pub standard.

Stayed before so knew layout of rooms and views. We were fortunate to have two rooms next to one another with views across to Arran (when the cloud lifted.) excellent dinner on first night as a couple, then next day lunch with family which was also very good. Rooms 310, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315 & 316 all face across... More

After a walk on the beach with our friends dogs we sat out of the back of this establishment for a drink and a rest. The location is fantastic and the service was friendly enough. Two of our party of eight had soup which they said was ok but nothing special. The rest of us just had drinks. My friend... More

Having driven by many times we decided to try the restaurant for lunch. What a suprise as it's very well done inside with a wood burner too and a nautical theme throughout... Lunch was fab with a great choice and excellent presentation. Staff were friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy including the toilets..we will return and recommend this place

My first visit to the restaurant with family for afternoon tea and a spot of lunch. Surroundings are absolutely stunning with fab views. Very clean and decor was lovely. It was just such a shame the service let the place down. It took a while to be served after we had been seated. However once ordered the food/afternoon tea arrived... More

Visited Waterside for Sunday breakfast and really disappointing. Toast was burnt, they forgot the juice and took about 10 minute to take our order despite not being busy until we had to ask them.
