Fish can sometimes be a little wet/waterery and the chips unless freshly cooked and be a little hard and cold. The nearest alternative is Catletown

Quick service, polite and very efficient. The premises have some nice touches with the blue sea themed decor. Cost is as expected and food quality just right. You can't really go wrong with fried food.

Smart and clean. Quick service. Small menu. Always made to feel welcome. Bright and cheery. Good cod and mushy peas. Home cooked onion rings. Not licensed.

I do hope this was a singular experience. This is a well presented food outlet with pleasant staff but , certainly on this visit, food standards have slipped. No longer well fried chips, crisp on the outside with fluffy centre , what I was served with were oily and limp. Hopefully the owners will address this, if necessary retrain their... More

Good authentic restaurant. Staff are really polite, food is as good as gold. Can't fault Fish and Chips by the seaside!

They make their chips with real potatoes and don't use frozen chips. I had some of the best fish and chips here that I've had in ages. Highly recommended.

I'm not normally a fan of sea side fish and chips, but this chippy was great, the food was fresh and tasty.

Perhaps it is because I am quite discerning before I go through any door that I nearly always receive a high standard of fish and chips. The Port Erin Chippy is no exception. The dining room is light and airy and nicely decorated. The servers are pleasant and cheerful. And finally, the food is a delight! Recommended.
