The atmosphere is so amazing with fireplace a very cozy place to be. We had luck, it was snowing outside so perfect! The burger is very tasty and the chips perfect. I recommend

20 of us turned up for a light lunch after a walk by the Thames. The staff coped admirably and served up some delicious sandwiches and pints of good ale. Also made the dog very welcome!
Very good meal in a warm and cosy old pub atmosphere. The menu had enough variety to satisfy all of us and the food was very good (pork was excellent)

Excellent salmon and goats cheese starters. The steaks were cooked exactly as requested. The triple cooked fries were also excellent. Nice friendly waitress. Really enjoyed this pubs food, and good value for money. Would definitely return.

Excellent ham, egg and chips with a really tasty beer. A great plate full of tender ham, and beautifully crisp chips with a couple of eggs on top. Just right after walking along the Thames.
