My wife chose scampi which was good, I had the blackboard special which was pork chops with a Stilton sauce, I had 2 decent sized pork chops very well cooked... More

Went for our evening meal. We arrived before meals where being served as it seemed busy at lunch time. Hubby had the steak which was beautiful. I had chicken in a mushroom and bacon sauce with salad and jacket potatoes. It was delicious. The food was priced well, to be honest we thought it was very good value. Locals, bar... More

Lovely friendly little pub in Askrigg, friendly locals, well behaved dogs and although we didn't try the food the menu looked nice and varied ..... and smelled lovely. Called in for one and stayed for three on a Tuesday evening (staying within walking distance) !!
