Unlike other places in Poiana Brasov, they have improved year on year. They started many years ago with one single room with the fire in the middle (coliba) and now have more than tripled the capacity. We are regulars at this restaurant and can witness that things are not always perfect, but they do make their best to have happy... More

We had a reservation for 6 persons. When we arrived, they told us that they had messed up our reservation and we have to wait. We waited 30 min outside. Meanwhile they offered us "tuica" to drink from the house, but at the end, surprise!!! It was on the bill along with other small things that we have not ordered.... More

We ate a pork scruff steak and a pork pastrami steak. The scruff wasn't cooked enough, the pastrami was ok and that's the reason we didn't give the restaurant 1 star. The bread was delicious probably they should change the restaurant into a bakery. The menu is prety basic and is fixed if you want to change the garnish you... More

This restaurant is authentic Romanian. It looks the part, tastes the part, and sounds the part! They even have a band of lăutari that play around the tables for about an hour during the evening. The food was excellent, fairly priced. They have all sorts of soups, stews, grill and even game. The service was great, and they have an... More

They have no idea how to cook a whole chicken. They served it burned, dry and tasteless. Eat somewhere please if you can! Seriously over rated place, very high prices for the food quality offered! Beware!!!

They have a very good food and the service is OK. The restaurant is beautuful in a very good Romanian folclor stile. The owner is always all around and keeping the level of the services up.

This place is truly worth the visit if you enjoy traditional settings and food. The walls are lined with animal skins and the restaurant and surroundings are richly decorated. The food was good and the service pleasant.

We had a booking for 2 people, but when we got there they didnt have a table for us, and instead made us share a 8 people table with 3 other people, which was quite awkward. However, the atmosphere was traditional and the food was enjoyable.
