Joao

Traveling from Lisbon to Porto we decided to go to Mealhada for leitão , we stopped to Nelson Dos Leitões, friendly and fast service Leitao was perfectly done , always a treat , good value for money.

5* leitão, 3* service

Awsome leitao: not too grease but excellently prepareda and moist. The leitao sandwitch is also one of the best. Makes one wonder about other swandishes in the future

Spring 2018 visit to Portugal

Arived at 22h00 and welcomed! Tables came in well after us. Local wine went down well enough and the leitoes (piglet). BUT, it’s NOT a fish restaurant, unless you like overdone salmon!
