Had the "menu degustazione" hoping for the best of a tast of everything. Yesterday had a dinner in michelin star restaurant in Folina. Which was worth every euro. Here i feel sorry about the money. Mediocre italian food, not bad but neither good. We must...More

This is a family run place where you get treated like long lost family returning to the home. Please forgive my generalization on the meal - lost my receipts and notes. We all had different pastas prepared with wonderful sauces. The waiter gave us a...More

Excellent and beautifully prepared dishes and an excellent local Prosecco and wine list. The setting is quiet with the option of eating out in an enclosed garden. At the base of hill-town Asolo.

The service was impeccable with the young woman carefully explaining choices and recommending excellent, reasonably priced wine. An amuse buche to begin, followed by beautiful wooden tray of bread and breadsticks. I got a salad, which was huge and very fresh. Suckling pig was superb....More

This was a truly excellent restaurant michelen rated and rightly so. The attention to detail was superb. Everything looked beautiful, Amuse bouche, homemade bread, inspired menu, locally sourced produce, prepared in a modern eclectic fashion. But not so modern it was "Foreign' to the traditional...More

Description
I was in Asolo last weekend and discovered that Ca' Derton is closed in the centre of town and has reopened as Locanda Baggio just on the outskirts of Asolo. Ca' Derton is the name of the house where the restaurant was located for nearly 20 years, so they had to change the name when they moved. The new restaurant is still great, and I would like to write a review. Pets not allowed.
