Interesting menu, beautiful serving of dishes, very good service!!! Prices are slightly above average, but for the price / quality ratio is absolutely plus!

Very good service coNsidering the very large tour group that took up all but two tables of the entire restaurant. Fresh food. The herb and vegetable garden visible outside from the table we sat at. Wines from Ricasole and Brolio paired well with the food. The Rose was dry and good with little colour. but not as enjoyable in my... More

Osteria del Castello was recommended to us by our hosts at our hotel, unfortunately it's incredibly touristy and for this reason the service might let it down. It was very busy, every table was taken but considering how popular this restaurant is you'd think the staff would be used to it and would be polite and helpful accordingly. We found... More

We had a very pleasant dinner here with two other couples. Some delicious antipasti included a tortino di pomdoro (tomato flan), a carpaccio di manzo, and an unusual salad with rabbit! The tortelli with melanzane were particularly good. My husband though was not enthused by his ossobuco as he expected veal but it was beef! The excellent Brolio Riserva was... More

We dined here, as part of the Castello Brolio's "Sunset tour" - we therefor had a set 4 course menu. 1. Starters Cold cut selection of standard Italian (Tuscan) meat. Salami etc. Decent and what you are served at any given place. Served with rosé from their own estate, a standard wine. 2. Pasta starter The restaurant'a homemade paste al... More

Fortunately we turned up early as we hadn't booked. Many people were turned away later. The food was very good - simple but well executed - with good flavours.

After the wine tour at Castello di Brolio I did a pre-fixed 4 course meal at the restaurant. It was by far the best meal I had in Italy and to be honest, probably the best meal I've ever had in my life! The meal was paired with wines as well. Cannot wait to go back. Absolutely amazing!

It was Palio Saturday in Siena, and the evening of the big Italy vs. Germany match in the Euros, so we had the whole place to ourselves, which is actually a nice and peaceful experience, especially when sitting outdoors at the terrace and surrounded by the tall trees. After sightseeing the castle grounds and hitting the wine shop, we had... More

Make sure to visit The Meleto, and the Osteria is an ok stop on the way if you need a simple and easy lunch. No surprises, but traditional food. Friendly staff.
