We have been there following the advice from Tripadvisor. We could have been disappointed as we arrived without having a reservation and it was full. Fortunately when we were leaving the place a table was discovered as free and we were able to get it. We enjoyed very much the napolitain style decoration while we were waiting for our pizzas.... I tried this Pizzeria a few week ago and I have to say that everything was fine. The place is very nice with napolitan style decorations, pizzas were excellent and the service was very fast and precise. To me, it's just a little expensive but if you are in Salento it's worth to be tried once at least.

I have neapolitan roots and my grandmother used to prepare many typical Neapolitan dishes like the parmigiana. Apart from the ones I ate in Naples I could only find the flavours which my grandmothers parmigiana emanated in this place. This positive association is reinforced by the location which gives u the sensation that u are in some little street somewhere... More

Very tasty pizza, however not big menu about special pizzas. Its something very traditional. This could be for some of you a bit disappointing. Book in advance, during the crowded time, almost no chance to get one table without reservation. App available, but pay attention if you book through it because they'll not check it. That was confirmed when I... More

Arrived earlish, 8 pm to an empty restaurant, which soon quickly filled up with locals, pizzas arrived quickly, but take your phrase book as menu only in Italian. Nothing extraordinary but good value ,watery pizzas , not to everyone's liking perhaps. Service bit slow if you arrive later, as only daughter and father running the service.

We noticed the absence of English-language reviews for this restaurant and thought it would be a good way of getting away from the more touristy places in the old town. Don Vincenzo is only a 6-7 minute walk from the bridge and very easy to find. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and 'negotiated' what we wanted to... More
