We were disappointed in our dinner here last night. Right from our greeting and being told our table was “over there!” Yes we were given the point so we waited until the staff member actually came back showed us where our table was. The menu...was priced high end and sounded ok but not a lot of choice. I ordered the Lemon Thyme chicken. The chicken was very small with hardly any meat on the bone. The risotto tasted nice but everything else on the plate just didn’t work and I did not like the taste. It was very unusual. My husband ordered the steak ($40) and it was full of gristle and flavorless. There were beans on his plate that he couldn’t eat as they were so salty. We ordered the leafy green as a side and we could barely eat them. There were what seemed like picked vegetables which just tasted like vinegar. Amongst these vegetables was mixed salad leaves which I’m sure were from a bag of supermarket mix. So 3 drinks and 2 mains totaling $108 and we felt very let down. My husband told the staff member when we paid that we were disappointed in our meal but not a lot of reaction was received. This was a special birthday dinner and we are on holiday. Unfortunately this put a damper on our evening. Unless this restaurant trains it’s staff and re vamps it’s menu I’m sure you will have many other dissatisfied customers. Chris and GarryMore

The lemon thyme chicken is absolutely delicious and staff went out of their way with service and friendliness. Very well priced and will certainly return to dine here again. One of the better restaurants in Yeppoon and great location over looking the beach at Rosslyn.

Chose to pop here on the basis of TripAdvisor. Wow what a good choice. Great cheery service and superb food. Quite unexpected to be honest. Menu had a good variety and wasn’t the usual parmy, fish and chips staple you often get, which was nice....I ate mackerel and husband went for the pork belly. Both were presented beautifully, but tasted really great. Would recommend this place and visit again based on our experience.More

Recently had a Sunday session and big Argentinian feast, which was a terrific experience. The wood fires cook up started mid afternoon and had a large range of ribs, whole chicken and port belly. The aromas were amazing. Nothing beats a wood fired hot coals...cook up. Great local beers on tap and a very enjoyable afternoon and evening, all underpinned by fantastic staff and terrific location on the water. The owners, Ross and Judy have outdone themselves yet again! Well done. We will be back soon... Hope this helps.... Cheers GMore

Me and my husband went here for lunch on Saturday and as I myself is coeliac and usually when dining out there is not much variety but here was completely different. We chose to share and got three entrees and one main, we chose the...oysters with Lemon Vinaigrette absolutely delicious, the macadamia and sweet potato fritters were to die for, the prawn and crab cracks also great, the curry dusted mackerel was delicious we give this restaurant a 10/10 for a very enjoyable lunch and to top it off our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Next time in the area we will definitely dine here again.More

Beautiful view and lovely place to enjoy lunch. The seasonal menu ensures there is always something new to try. Huge fan of the crab cakes (huge chunks of real crab in them) and the steak was delicious and cooked to perfection (medium-the garlic topper is...a must!). I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the croquettes (they tasted like they had a bit of turmeric in them, but it wouldn’t stop me from ordering the steak again as I loved the purée and jus. Service was prompt and attentive however it wasn’t overly busy. I ordered a French martini and it was made very well.More

We booked a little late but they were able to accommodate us and we are soooo glad they could! The food was absolutely amazing!! My family and I dined with a beautiful view and had a shared starter, main and shared dessert. Each one a...delight for the tastebuds. The service was friendly, polite and attentive, faultless. The menu had a variety of choices and catered well for vegetarians.More
