We called in on the off chance of getting a table for dinner on Friday night. I was so glad we did. The food was amazing, the service was very attentive, the ambiance was excellent, fantastic value for money. Best place to eat in Pezanas. We tried to book a table at Entrepots and they couldn't even be bothered responding... More

Better than average restaurant compared to the town and the region but not quite as good as it wants to be or could be. Not cheap either.

Went with my wife for a rare dinner for two. The service was charming throughout from the welcome to departure. There were a couple of staff under tuition who clearly wanted to do their best - particularly the young man. The food was good, I had a lobster dish as a starter which didn't really work, but the lobster was... More

The place is very homish, not too fancy yet above the average from the usual restaurants in France. The food was creative and solid, just like the place- the dishes are not common and obvious yet the Chef doesn't push the limits too far from traditional French food to over creative. The service was good and so was the atmosphere,... More

We were only staying two nights in Pezenas and had booked at another restaurant on the following evening for my partners birthday, however after dining here we changed our minds and reserved a table for that occasion. The decor is classy, muted and modern. The service was simply sensational (our waitress being the most charming young lady). The food matched... More

The main course of scallop and prawn was the best we have had anywhere. They were plump and succulent, accompanied by a cooked small array of vegetables and a rich fish and cream-based sauce. The desserts were delicious too. My plate of chocolate cream, berry sorbet, confit of cherries and minute squares of alcohol-soaked pistachio cake was a riot of... More

We've eaten here often - but mainly for special occasions. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. There are 2 or 3 set price menus. There are usually 3 or more choices in each course but if there is nothing that 'floats your boat' you can choose from the A La Carte and pay the difference. The service is professional... More

There are plenty of restaurants in Penezas but this to be amongst the best. The prix fixe evening menu at 29 euros was outstanding - delicious starter, an amalgam of interesting vegetables, foie gras and soft boiled egg, followed by fricasee of sea food with the most intense and reduced sauce, finishing with an imaginative mango pudding. The service was... More

Excellent cooking but very expensive for measly portions. Big on taste, small on helping, even my elderly relative who has a small appetite raised her polite eyebrows at the two baby carrots and lonely potato slice accompanying her teeny beef steak. No, we will never go back here.

A fantastic meal. The service was well-timed and thoughtful. Interesting twists on the dishes. A must for a meal in Pezenas.
