we stayed at the morning dew hotel. In the cafe we had our delicious breakfast every morning and in the evening we enjoyed delicious homemade cocktails before dinner. the food was delicious, the service super friendly and helpful. had a nice time with Ramesh, Harsha and Lakmal!

Amazing food and view

Cafe dew Ella sits on top of Mountain Dew hotel and is open to public along with paid access to thier roof top infinity pool. They offer both Western, East Asian and Sri Lankan food. We had thier breakfast, lunches and dinner and each and every time the food was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are more than reasonable and we often take food away. Chicken and meat is halal here. We do not drink alcohol but they offered good range of mocktails aswell. They have a good range of dessert aswell (waffles and fritters were our favorite). The service is also amazing as they set the table for you and help serve the food. It is worth coming here to enjoy the mountain view of Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. In the evening you can sit on the lounge chairs to watch the stars with a drink.

We had an excellent experience at Mountain Dew Boutique Hotel, Ella. Sanjana at Morning Dew Boutique Hotel in Ella was an absolute delight! From recommending delicious dishes to ensuring every detail was just right, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Rooftop restaurant with the best views

Recently stayed in this hotel and had breakfast and dinner at this great rooftop restaurant. The views are amazing overlooking Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. We were really looked after by Ajith and Ramesh. Ajith is a wealth of information about local history and places of interest. Both were engaging and ensured our stay was one to remember. A good variety on the menu and the breakfast pancakes cooked by Chef Manjula were delicious.

Excellent staff and customer service by the staff. Especially Asanka, Sanjana and Dinesh who were very attentive and went out of their way to make our meal and experience amazing. Also a wonderful staff member who dropped and picked us from the bottom of the hill Sampath during our two night stay.

Unbelievable intimate once in a lifetime experience - quality and blend of unique culinary treats are unparalleled. Value is beyond compare. The view by itself is breathtaking alone and taking a cool swim on a rooftop infinity pool before an absolutely phenomenal dinner wets your appetite and all your senses in an unforgettable manner. The team at the bar was fabulous. Our group of 9 enjoyed amazing mixed cocktails, snacks and dinner overlooking the beautiful town of Ella. Malith, Ruwan and the staff were entertaining, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Really good experience

We were here for 4 days and got over 10 meals, all of which tasted quite eminent. One meal was better than the other. Both breakfast, dinner and dinner were great. The options for breakfast, the crispy chicken burger for dinner and their many good rice dishes for dinner. The service was completely amazing too and especially our more or less constant waiter Dinesh was service minded in a totally fantastic degree! Beautiful views and overall a lovely experience. Very recommended.

The best breakfast in Morning Dew hotel!

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel, and the breakfast was one of the best things about it!! The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, included so many options both local and international, and everything was delicious! The stuff, especially Upali and Raj, were very kind, friendly and helpful, and made our breakfast just perfect. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night and enjoyed the cafe and rooftop pool. The staff was very kind and professional. The menu of the cafe very diverse with local dishes and more occidental ones. All dishes were very good (local dish, lamb shops, pasta…). The drinks (cocktail, wine) also very tasty. Would totally recommend !

Great & varied breakfast

We had three fantastic breakfasts here. 2x à la carte and 1x as buffet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dilan fulfilled us three days all wishes at breakfast and was very attentive. There was also a small birthday greeting from the kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful evening at the Café Dew. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious - a great variety and more than enough choice to keep everyone happy! The views were incredible too - you really are on top of the world. Huge thanks to Ramesh, Gayan and Harsha for making it such a memorable evening for our family.

Individual buffet breakfast, delish!

The selection for breakfast is great. You make your selection the night before. There is a range of western and eastern dishes to choose from. We enjoyed the curd, the fresh fruit platter and couldn’t get enough of the hoppas! The staff were friendly and no request was too much. Highly recommend.
