We stayed 3 nights in Serenite, Ella. This was our very first experience with them. And it was beyond exceptional. The customer service was brilliant and very pleasant, they went out of their way to make us feel at home with their genuine interest in...their guests. The staff was exceptional, namely Chathura, Danushka and Dilshan. The lady who cooks makes the best Sri Lankan food. The food portions are quite massive and 1 portion can be shared by 2. We had almost all of our meals at Serenite, as the monsoon season was upon us and we really didn't feel like leaving that comfy room. Chathura was very helpful in guiding us with a map on how to climb Ella rock and arranging a very reliable tuk to take us to to town and the station. The tuk guy arranged by them too was a very genuine person, who took a lot of trouble to make sure we had the best Ella experience. The rooms were cozy, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had a view of the Ella rock and the Ella gap straight from the bed. However the best view was from the bathtub, where you can actually watch the sunrise (do wake up to the best sunrise, its worth it) and see trains passing by in the mountains. The tub was very comfortable for 2 and quite luxurious. This place is best for couples we felt as the stairs to reach the rooms were a bit tricky (but if you're up for an adventure this place is exceptional). The staff really made us feel at home, which we felt was the highlight of the trip. We will be back again soon. We actually miss being at Serenite :)More

If you are looking for a place to escape that is quiet and picturesque, this is the spot. We enjoyed our honeymoon stay here. Friendly service as well.

This was our 2nd time staying in Serenite Ella. Our 1st stay was amazing that we decided to choose it again after 2 years.It was super fun and they have improved a lot, facilities wise. We are so lucky to find such a wonderful place for dinner and chilling in our first day in Ella. The food was so delicious, portions were really big. But the most important is friendly team, Mr Ramesh was very helpful and kind!

We had a really nice dinner at the Serenite Elle, we had the local Lumpa Rice and it was really tasty! The restaurant has an amazing view and the staff is really friendly. Ramesh gave us a lot of tips in what to do the...day after! Highly suggested restaurant to have traditional Sri Lankan food!!More

Great food, great views, great service. Western food for every visitor, but especially the Sri Lanka food was awesome! The way it is served is nice! The staff, especially Ramesh is really friendly and helpfull! Had lunch and several diners here!

Er arrived a little late at our homestay biwon. But this place was open and we got our first real experience, with rice and curry it was absolutely delicious.
