I went there to discover what is Paje's night life. I discovered a nice place, well organised, with a bar and charts songs. On my side I would have prefered something more local. I really like Swahili charts, so I was just a little disappointed for this. Otherwise, 10000TZS to get in, in fact it's cheap, but for this place... More

I visited the bar which is right on the beach. It is very quaint, decorated in a traditional local manner. The atmosphere is very festive and fun. The staff is very friendly and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend it.

Jambo Friday is fun and busy and the music is good. The prices on beverage is the same as everywhere else, but everyone have to pay entrance fee (I think it is 10.000TSH). We had lunch at the place one time and that was very disappointing. The portions was small, the pasta was cold and it costed 13.000TSH per portion.... More

Everyone knows Jambo. Parties every weekend, bonfires every night. The circular bar is a great place to get to know people, and you will definitely become friends with the staff. Benches and hammocks are around to enjoy the oceanside view. During especially high tide, the water will literally lap at your feet while you're sitting at the bar. All that... More

I had one of the most relaxing stays here at Jambos. I originally booked the Jambos in the Nungwi so watch out for that. However I'm so glad I accidentally booked this once as it was perfect. Right on the gorgeous beach, it was quiet and private. A few people walking by staring at us sunbathing but did not get... More

We got there to have some beers in our first day in Paje, immediately we meet part of the staff and they are so nice and good people. One of the guys of the staff was getting married that day and he invited us to his simple wedding in Jambo, he was taking care of us in every moment...and made... More

My family and I stayed in Paje twice last year and stopped in at Jambos by chance on the first visit as we were passing from Ndame to Ocean restaurant. We had excellent drinks here whilst our son played with kids and the kiting instructor from next door, Omar the bar man was friendly, attentive and interesting. When we revisited... More

The restaurant is not up to standard at all. The food is really not good and the prices are not cheap.
