Very friendly service, the use of the boat was explained properly and we felt very safe and comfortable . Look forward to coming back.

Beautiful location and fabulous service. We hired a fishing dory for 4 hours which was plenty of time to drop anchor in beautiful Jerusalem bay and then a beach safari before heading back the the the kiosk.
Easy, fun, straightforward, even for a relative boating novice. Booking process and staff were great. Wet the line, circumnavigated the Northern Cowan Creek area. Didn't catch any fish, but didn't seem to matter that much.
Took my boys fishing and we had a ball People very friendly and helpful and it was easy to steer the boat Had a beautiful winters day and we caught 4 fish to the delight of my boys Highly recommended and lovely place to eat...and have coffee tooMore
Fabulous food, service and location. Great selection Definitely well worth a visit. Stairs are very steep so might be problematic for some. Kid friendly
We spent a glorious, beautiful half-day at Cottage Point, last weekend. Tranquille, nestled within the national park, peaceful, uncrowded. We were very glad for our early start. We hired a small explorer boat from the Kiosk, my partner and I and, with our little dog,...we set off exploring the surrounding beautiful inlets. The waters were calm, with hardly anyone else around (yeah!), amazing sandstone shores reflected in the aquamarine waters. We saw a sea eagle close up, an egret, cormorants and observed the mesmerising (and fast) motion of jellyfish up close. We could have easily spent more than 2 hours exploring. Afterwards, a walk up the hill to stretch our legs and then back down to the Kiosk for lunch. The fish curry is sooo delicious. It was a great way to celebrate a special birthday. Oh, and the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back.More
Friendly, wholesome gem within the national park with great coffee and menu choices. The signature dish fish curry - Barramundi poached in coconut milk and curry served with jasmine rice and yoghurt was off the scale delicious and perfect for a winter's day lunch. The...Kiosk now closed for winter - well worth a visit when it reopens.More
We hired 4 kayaks and had a fabulous time on the water. Staff were very professional and friendly. We will be back - thank you
What an amazing lunch we had at Cottage Point Kiosk. Beautiful fresh fish and chips and a crisp Italian Pinot Grigio. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the location is 5 STAR ⭐️. I wish we had something like this in Moreton Bay. It...is like we pulled up in the Greek Islands at a Taverna that nobody knows about. (It was lovely to meet the owner Trent as well).More
This spot is ideal for lunch or tea. Having a view of boats bobbing on the water is special and gives one a sense of being closer to nature. There's something very tranquil to this spot. We arrived early hoping to beat the crowds as...the parking situation is diabolical as anyone who has been there will know! Unfortunately, we still had to park a long, long way from the kiosk. That aside, we had reserved a table on the balcony as there was a chance of rain. Menus must be picked up and food and drinks ordered and paid for at the counter. We settled for the "famous" fish curry and a portion of the corn fritters plus drinks. The fish curry consisted of a generous piece of barramundi atop a small tower of rice surrounded by the coconut milk/cream sauce on a banana leaf. It was absolutely delicious and definitely deserves every accolade. although there were chilie pieces, it was not hot but just a tad spicy. The 2 corn fritters were separated with a smear of avocado (a couple of slices of fresh would have been an improvement). a big piece of bacon and a tomato and red onion salsa plus some spinach leaves completed the dish. It was nice enough but not special. Be aware that Sundays and public holidays have a 10% surcharge.More
Cottage Point Kiosk is well placed half way up the Cowan Creek to make exploring this beautiful waterway easy. The little fishing dory we hired was new, clean and spacious for the 4 of us and very easy to manage. Besides collecting your boat here,...I'd highly recommend their restaurant too, we started with fabulous bacon and egg rolls and ended our day of adventure with a glass of bubbles and a beer. We know this waterway quite well but I would recommend doing some prior research of the beaches or bringing a map to make the most of your day.More
We've been meaning to rent a boat from Cottage Point for years but the arrival of an overseas guest finally have us the perfect reason. We hired a small boat for an afternoon and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Cottage point made it very easy...and we definitely plan to do it again.More
Waterfront location, amazing food, great hosts - Trent and Ang. Fish curry recommended. Drinks super reasonably priced. Boat hire for the uninitiated also available.&
A fantastic place for locals and tourists. We took our interstate guests here during the Xmas period. Staff are outstanding assisting with boat hire and provide good food and a selection of wines for lunch. Highly recommended.
We have returned again to this venue because it offers 'boaties' a wonderful place to enjoy great food and wine while overlooking the marina and stunning scenery beyond. The Chilli Mussels with a Sourdough loaf is a fabulous meal and if you accompany it with...the special individually imported French Pinot Gris it lifts the experience to an outstanding level. There is a public mooring for larger boats just off the wharf and room for tenders and small craft to tie up. We will be back again next time we are on the Hawkesbury!More
