We should have read the early warning signs. The 3 staff on duty were sitting on the restaurant steps as we entered. The TV was on, loudly. We had been told this is a good example of Sardinian cuisine. Luckily, we have enjoyed some other good examples, otherwise we would have been disappointed in local food. It was as if... More

Need to reserve before going, always full. Very copious plates and friendly staff. Not to go if you do not like meat.

We went here with 4 people and did not realize you had to pre-order the pork ahead of time. However, we had some steak and it was good, just was expecting pork. Very nice waiter and of course good wine. Quaint atmosphere.

This is my first review on Trip Advisor. I have been traveling in Italy for a week and a half and I feel compelled to write a review about my restaurant experience here tonight. It was so delicious and I am so glad I came! I was going to go to a cheaper restaurant for budget reasons but I typically... More

Based on previous reviews we found this place disappointing. It is a small restaurant on a bit of land at the side of the road. The service whilst not unpleasant resembled a fast food place. At €48 for 2 chicken mains, a beer and water it is overpriced for the type of place it is in my opinion. You can... More

We went to this place because we had heard it was the best one to try one of sardinia´s especialities: roasted pig. The attention was absolutely fantastic and the food unforgetable. Don´t hesitate to try the starters, we had a starter "di terra" and it had local cheese and meat which made us go straight to heaven!

We found more typical sardinian dishes here than in other restaurants. Would recommend the culurgiones - wonderful light taste!

This is a very nice and well organised restaurant with very typical local cousine, not fake one! The manager Massimiliano was able to suggest suitable dishes for our taste and combined wines or beers. All food is fresh and bought locally, this place is full of good undiscovered wines and drinks, you won't find them in other nearby restaurants. The... More

We have been sailing around these Islands for the last 4 weeks and by chance were recommended to eat here. So we did about 3 weeks ago. Great food and serves meat which we were all wanting. Last night we dined here again but pre ordered the suckling pig. Sensational. The restaurant is not In the main centre of Maddalena... More

I don't know how this restaurant has been awarded with the certificate of excellence. Absolutely overpriced!!! 12 euro way too much for a 3 slices salami, 3 slices ham and 3 slices pecorino appetizer, plus 12 euro each a tasteless zuppa gallurese and ravioli culurgiones (to be honest the only palatable dish)!!! Poor service as well. Maybe we would have... More

Description
Sardinia is an old land.
So old that the colors of nature and flavors of the food are fused in a unique and
distinctive alchemy.
It is difficult to explain, but when one says, "it is Sardinian", everyone understands
what it means.
We Sardinians have gone and looked everywhere.
We went in search for small producers,
those that produce fewer barrels of wine,
fewer blocks of cheese,
fewer varieties of salted meats.
We searched for those that are not attracted by quantity because, for them, producing
quality food is much more important.
Now, their labors of love are on our tables, for you.
We found great pleasure in searching out the finest and most authentic products, those
that our surrounding lands offer us. We love that we are able to now offer these to
you. We will be satisfied if, in the end, you enjoyed the cuisine and atmosphere.
This is what we do.
Have a wonderful vacation.
