If you are going to eat anywhere around Ngapali Beach, eat here. We read about this restaurant in Trip Advisor and since it was across the street from our hotel (Sandoway), we had to try it. It is a family run restaurant with Mama doing all of the amazing cooking. We loved the prawn curry and the tomato & green... More

I had a quick lunch at this place - avocado salad and baked eggplant one - both super yummy and freshly prepared. That topped with amazingly friendly and ever smiling service :) super happy to find this little gem - would come back at any time !

This's the only restaurant we came 3 times during 3 nights here. Good local food, clean and cheap. Staff was great!

Friendly service, but... The food wasn't good. The coconut prawn dish was the best we had but it was just okay. Our grilled squid was far, far too overcooked. The vegetable salad had caramelized onions on it which overpowered everything else. The tomato cucumber salad had a strange flavour to it. Disappointing given all the good food we've had in... More

A short walk from the entrance of Amata Resort. Very clean and the staff spoke very good English and was very helpful and friendly. We ordered barracuda filled, tiger prawns, fried rice and traditional prawn curry with coconut milk. It was all very tasty. The curry was exceptional and the tiger prawns had that Smokey grilled taste. A lovely meal... More

We tried all of the top Ngapali restaurants during our stay, and Mingalaba was easily our favorite. The food here was cooked to perfection with amazing flavor and sauce options (on the side). We loved it so much we came back for our final night stay. We had red snapper, tiger prawns, tomato and avocado salad, cucumber salad, and fried... More

Went there 2 times on a 4 days trip to Ngapali. Freshest whole fish you can get for such a cheap price (less that 5USD for a whole grouper). Salads (Avocado and tea leafs) were also delicious. And the owner of the place is really sympathic. Will come next year if I go to Ngapali again !

Friendly, family-run local restaurant. The red snapper was excellent, the sauces that came with it DELICIOUS! Will definitely eat here again! The prices are very reasonable as well.
