Caffe Amouri is the best place to get French press coffee in Vienna. It's really busy in the AM - so if you want a seat - grab it on your way in and then order...

First of all, really good coffee. Second, friendly, eye-contact service with a smile. Third, a buzz of activity. You can read in peace, but there is a steady stream of people coming and going. Fourth, the place is a fan of and supporter of local musicians. Can beat that.

Local Michael Amouri followed his passion and is a pro coffee roaster. He's created a homey place to get coffee and some food...as well as hangout. We buy our ground coffee from Cafe Amouri and also get coffee there often. I also take it to office with pastries for breakfast meetings.

All the feel and smell of a great coffeehouse with good food to match. Never a bad house coffee, and high-end beans available for a special treat. It also has very good breakfast sandwiches and other morning food. Inside seating can be tough at peak hours. Conveniently located a few steps from the W&OD bike trail where I have often... More

There isn't much seating, but the coffee and breakfast sandwiches are good. Sometimes they have day old baked goods for 1/2 price which are still fresh tasting.

It's rare to find a small coffee shop like this in the corporatized Starbucks/Peet's saturated market of Northern Va. Fortunately, Vienna has Caffe Amouri, but it's really nothing special. Extremely friendly service but the coffee itself is just average. Its awkward location in "downtown" means, like everything else in Vienna, you have to drive and park there. Of course, Caffe... The coffee is great, the staff is friendly, its just a bit hard to get in there as its always so busy. I would not recommend the food, but some of the bakery products are OK.

The coffee roasted here is strong! As in rich. Lattes are delicious. Beverages are served in big, comforting mugs. Croissants are yummy!

Yes I recommend the cafe all the time. It is very central and easy to get to and many walk there too. You are right in the middle of the town and very charming.

Caffe Amouri is such a Vienna staple that I don't know what the town would be without it. I have so many great memories going here all throughout high school and college and it feels like the town meeting point for all ages- not just young people. Decent prices and amazing coffee and service. Fun vibe.
