Irish pub located directly across the street from the Aaronoff Center. We had made a reservation for dinner before the show. We were seated immediately and served promptly. Menu selection was extensive. Pub food was delicious and well prepared. Prices very reasonable. Good beer selection!!

Wife and I had dinner there last week and I left very disappointed with my meal. Always loved the Fish and Chips, but was surprised at the changes from how it was in the past. You used to get 2 good sized filets, great and nice amount of cole slaw and steak fries. Now, its 2 small pieces of fish(still... More

Our visit to Cincy is never complete without going to Nicholson's. While we are always hoping Christian will be our server (we miss you Christian!) on this visit we had Jasmine who was delightful! The food was amazing as always - turkey pesto, spinach dip, apple cobbler....soooo good!! If you haven't been - GO! You'll love it!!

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and efficient. Their flavored ketchup was a little odd tasting and the music a bit too loud but other than that everything was great.

When we stay in a downdown location we always just start out by walking around and find a place to eat/drink. We hit the jackpot with this tavern/pub! Can't say enough good things about it!. We typically sit at the bar which gives you the opportunity to talk to the locals. Our bar tender, Alex, was great and wore the... More

I have been to Nicholson's many times, and I have always been very pleased with everything I have ordered. This time was with a group of gals, and we all ordered different items. We were all pleased. I even convinced a friend to order the lamb burger, and she loved it!

Four of us decided to eat downtown while here on business. I had fish and chops which I felt were overdone and had to be cut with a knife they were so heavily breaded and crispy. The duck fries were ok, but not hot and so were a bit soggy. I didn't eat many of them. My co-worker ordered the... More

WOnderful tavern and pub. Great old feeling to it with rooms and fireplaces, awesome bar, huge selection of any kind of beer, liquors and wines. Scottish/irish feel to it all with kilts on some of the servers, men and women. Meal was quite good, service was excellent, atmosphere was the winner. Fish and chips was wonderful. Only wish we found... More

Was visiting Cincinnati for the first time and happened to wander into Nicholsons. Great place for food and of course the beer was excellent. Very nice atmosphere - will definitely go back if I'm ever in Cincinnati again.
