My parents were visiting from Florida so dinner at the Precinct was a perfect way to celebrate! You can't beat the fillet!! We had family style asparagus and the Freddie salads! Everything was fantastic!

Nothing new here. Outstanding food, excellent steaks, peerless service. Adds up to one of the finest restaurants in the city.

The restaurant is so beautiful and all the staff extremely friendly. Our entire group enjoyed their meals, especially the macaroni and cheese!

Their steaks are the best anywhere. Yes expensive but service is great. Has lived up to its reputation year in and year out.

Had a rib eye and it was overcooked and chewy. I was disappointed. Felt like it was pricey and not worth it. Although the Alaskan king crab was pretty good I'll admit. I wouldn't go again.

Went with my wife a couple days before Christmas for a nice meal. This place was phemonal. I had a dry aged bone in filet mignon that melted in my mouth. Best steak I've ever had. We ordered a side order of Mac and Cheese because it's one of our favorite comfort foods. It's hard to miss on a six... More

Seriously. Best steaks in town, for one. Yes, expensive, but this is a once-per-year type of place. A true splurge. Prime steaks, with great appetizers, huge sides, great friendly service, and fabulous desserts.

We went here based on a recommendation of Jeff Ruby's restaurants from a friend. It was a disappointment from our expectation. It was extremely noisy with garish loud people. The atmosphere, which could have been funky-cool, was overlit, overcrowded (tables too close together) and not very clean. The service was average; very slow, although, to be fair, it was a... More

For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style structure would hold what is now the longest, continuously running white tablecloth restaurant in the city. Recently named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses by USA Today and Gayot.com, The Precinct is frequently recognized as having Cincinnati’s best steaks, seafood and service. This consistent high level of quality and overall guest experience over 3 decades has endeared Precinct to celebrities, businesspeople, families and loyal diners alike.
