Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was probably my worst eating experience in Honolulu. I paid $31.84 USD (including tip) for one poached egg that wasn't cooked properly; a triangle of supermarket bread; a burnt tasting hash brown and a sickly sweet pineapple juice. There were a lot of people...there so it's obviously quite popular but the whole experience was weird. The service wasn't great either. I don't know how this place has such good reviews.More

When you are lucky enough that work takes to Hawaii, and you have been dying to come here. It did not disappoint!!! We came later than planned so we missed the dumpling. The service was amazing and the food off the hook. We had the...corn flake French toast and the Chicky eggs. We were members of the clean plate club. The sizes were huge.More

We absolutely loved every dish we got from here. The pickled veggies and dumplings were perfect appetizers. Our main courses (an octopus and rice dish and steak and eggs) were also delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Kokomoco tastes great, french toast is not bad either. Paid parking lot next to the cafe. Worth a second visit. Suitable for families.

What a wonderful experience.Navigation the how’s of the waiting list( can be a long wait) take a moment but it is so worth it. Original combinations done so well make for a memorable brunch. Lovely little restaurant, recommended to us by a local. Friendly servers, nice food. We had the bimimbap, pork omelette and bana bread . As aussies, we found the coffee to be terrible, but that was a minor detail. Would definitely go back again when we...are next in HonoluluMore

Stumbling upon Koko Head Cafe in Oahu was like striking gold for brunch lovers like us! The cornflake French toast was a revelation, and the haupia ricotta pancakes were a perfect mix of sweet and fluffy goodness. The Breakfast Bibimbap Skillet turned out to be...a pleasant surprise with its explosive flavors. We couldn't resist going back for the renowned dumplings—our choice was the buffalo chicken and blue cheese, and they were absolutely delicious. While it might dig a bit into your wallet, the experience is totally justified. The top-notch service only enhances the overall enjoyment. Seize the opportunity to bask in the glory of this breakfast paradise! My advice: rise and shine early to beat the crowds and avoid long lines.More

This was my first visit since it moved locations. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for table, but it was still worth it. Food continues to be top notch, and service is still very good. Daily dumplings are always a treat, the congee and skillets...continue to always deliver on quality and flavour. This place never disappoints!More

I love this breakfast joint as they offer options you don’t really see with the other places such as Eggs n Things or YogurStory. I had the Cornflake French Toast while my wife had the Breakfast Congee and my kids shared the ricotta pancakes with...bacon. All of these were really good. Points for plenty of parking on their location and able to join a waitlist in Yelp.More

Good food, moderately priced for Hawaii. Ordered brunch, my wife's was brought out, then no service or check-back to see if everything was ok, 10 min later when they failed to bring my breakfast, i went to the server and asked what's up? Whoops, they...cancelled my part of the order, and said they would send over a complimentary cinnamon roll, which after bringing my breakfast like 10 min later, they forgot that. Not a very good server or maybe she had a bad day. would have rated it a 5 if the service wasnt so bad...More

You will need a car or taxi as the restaurant would be about a 15 minute drive. The area in which it is located is kind of an interesting walk about as it has had a recent revival with restaurants and shops that you won't... More
