First, I want to say that our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Beyond that, I did not find this place very enjoyable. You pick a number of items and they are brought to you raw to cook at your table. We were told some idea on time (such as "around 3 min per side" for scallops... More

I have dined in similar style joint in Tokyo where you make your own meal from the meats they serve you and was pretty fun. This was similar in quality as well. Generally the meat they served was good, not perfect though and there were some chewy bites bit still very good. However it is not a cheap place on... More

This Korean BBQ was our first meal in Honolulu, and it was delicious! Huge portions and good service.

This was my first Japanese BBQ dinner and it was an outstanding experience. I was dining with my picky 8 year old grand-daughter but I was sure we could get plain Udon noodles and the restaurant was very accommodating. She also loved the cheese wontons, as did I. The real surprise was the quality of meat dishes that we grilled.... More

Had the lunch special combo 3 with 3 orders of the filet mignon ($13.95) which comes with rice, soup and a salad. The meat was delicious and plentiful. Used the 99 cent coupons for 2 beers and then had a tower for $9.50. Come here each trip several times and it only gets better.

I went there for dinner. The food was excellent ! Your table is equipped with a gas grill that you cook your selections on but I prefered to order an already prepared dish.

A group of us went for an early dinner here and we're lucky that it was happy hour so all the food was a lot cheaper than normal. There are hot grills in the middle of the tables and you can choose to cook your meats or purchase an already prepared dish like bibim bap or noodles. We ordered a... More

Happy Hour gives you the best value. I went twice for the same day! Birin Draft beer is only $2.99 for a big glass. Make sure you download their app and earn points for rewards. I got a free ice cream on my 2nd visit. Must try Korean place at Waikiki.

Thank Philip K
