After walking the busy Waikiki strip and rejecting a number of possibilities, we returned to the quieter end of the tourist area near Diamond Head, and settled on this restaurant which is not heavily advertised, nor is obvious even from street level. The subtle flavors,...More

We went there to celebrate my mom's 89th birthday. The food was top notch and the service was very warm. The wait staff made us feel so comfortable. This was our third visit to the restaurant and we've never been disappointed.

We dined at Miyako for our final night in Honolulu and shared a very special Kaiseki dinner, which as we learned is a series of small, exquisitely-prepared dishes, each more artful and delicious than the one before. It's a set menu and you need to...More

Amazing! Food was delicious.. location is outstanding (watched sunset - while having dinner) and the service is superb! The sushi platter had a nice verily. The deep fried tofu in amber sauce was outstanding as was every other course that was brought out.

My husband and I, southern people, had a beautiful dinner at Miyako. The ladies serving us made us feel very comfortable despite our obvious difficulty in using chop sticks and gracefully eating the Japanese food. A great experience.

Had dinner once while staying at the New Otani hotel. Service was very slow, waiters kept apologizing but did not speed up. Absolutely no view, where are the tables displayed on the elevators posters and on web site? We did not return.

Sunset is the visual delight, but its really disappointing when it takes 55 minutes to have the beer served.

Not to my knowledge, but you might want to call them to ask. I've never seen it on the menu but it might be offered as a special.

Here you’ll enjoy the finest Japanese cuisine, including traditional kaiseki dinners, made one order at a time from the freshest of ingredients. Dishes are as visually artistic as they are memorably delicious. From its second floor location, the Miyako Restaurant offers unobstructed panoramic views of Sans Souci Beach and Waikiki skyline. Consider timing your visit with sunset.
