We were lucky enough to be seated directly in front of the chef at the long bar that surrounds the central kitchen area. Nanzan Giro Giro, being a kaiseki restaurant doesn’t have an ala carte menu, you’re at the whim of the chef. However, this...More

This place is the best! The staff is amazing and very personable. You are seated at the counter that surrounds the kitchen. The menu is set so everyone eats the same thing. Wine is paired with each dish that is brought out (if you chose...More

Such a wonderful meal with a devote attention to detail. The kitchen is so serene that if they never said a word you would not know they where in front of you. A must try if you love creative Japanese Cuisine. Bravo

We were treated to dinner at this lovely Japanese restaurant near Ala Moana Mall. The menu is pre–set and courses are determined by the chef. From what I understand, the menu changes often (based on the season). We were served 3 appetizers and 3 main...More

I think the menu changes monthly. The service style is known as kaiseki and is a "set" menu of about 6 courses with an optional dessert course. I don't think they post the menu, but you can call them for what's being served... More
