I dine at this café often. The staff is terrific and the food is great and very reasonable for Newport. Beautiful view of the Marina. I hosted a private party for 30 people and it was a magical evening. Patrick, the manager, was so gracious and helpful. Baked Stuffed Lobsters, Blackened Salmon, Oysters... All fantastic!! Also love to go here... More

Take the Newport Ferry 1 hour tour of the Harbor and when it docks at Goat Island, step off and have a drink at this establishment. The chips and salsa were great. Just a nice spot to enjoy views of some magnificent boats.

Stopped in for a Pain Killer and lunch. The wait staff was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there helping us. The Pain Killer was a delight and the food was yummy...but the french fries...the french fries were transcendent!!! Truly the best french fries I have ever had...and I've had my fair share of french fries!!! I would... More

As new residents of Newport, we decided to take a long dog walk and check out the sunset dining options on Goat Island. We walked across the causeway with its great views of all the gorgeous yachts at the Newport Shipyard. Once on the island, you can turn left toward the marina or right toward the Hyatt. We turned left... More

This restaurant was close to the Hyatt Regency where we were staying and didn't want to deal with going into Newport. We decided to try it even though there were very few tables occupied. We ordered the fried calamari which came with banana pickles which must be a RI thing. The calamari was very good, one of the best we... More

Stopped in while taking the boat taxi ride around the harbor. It was worth the stop. Tried the fish tacos and they were great. The swordfish was spiced to my liking. The best however were their French fries. I was stealing them from my wife's plate and I couldn't stop eating them. Cooked perfectly. View of the harbor was also... More

The food was alright, nothing to write home about... and the service was also just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Going for this place are the view and the easy parking. I chose it because of the congestion on the main drag and my wanting to get of the crowded area.

We were on the Newport shuttle tour of the harbor and stepped off for a drink. The marina is right at the end of the pier. We ate out on the patio. Had chips and salsa with a couple of beers. The salsa was very good as were the chips and beer. Service was average but did not ruin the... More

Friendly place...favored by locals which is the biggest compliment. Love the menu. You can even take you dog in the outside seating and in the bar if it is a small dog.

We stopped here for a late afternoon snack on a drive from New York to Boston. I had the Rhode Island Clam Chowder (a thinner, tastier broth with big chunks of seafood and vegetables - quite different from milky Boston Clam Chowder or tomato based Manhattan Chowder), and had a “Stuffie” – a clamshell stuffed with a mix of seafood,...
