After spending the night in Teddy Roosevelt National Park we went here for breakfast and it was out of this world. I ordered like a cowboy and ate like a cowboy! This place really created the atmosphere of a real country breakfast. Being a city boy i really soaked it up, like i soaked up my eggs with the toast!

We had a wonderful dinner at this café. Our was very tasty and the service was fast being the evening ( dinner time), and they were very busy. There was also a western band playing in the background.

We had eggs and hash browns with sausage. All the items were perfectly prepared and the portions were generous.

Medora is a neat little town and during the season there would seem to be a lot to see and do here. When we visited most things were already closed for the season. We went to the Cowboy Cafe for lunch and were pleased. It does have a good local atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. The food was... More

Our lunch here was acceptable. The place has lots of local atmosphere. Cowboy pictures covering all the walls. It was off-season, so it looked like mostly locals. The prices were very reasonable and the food was OK. Local diner quality. It closes at 2 pm, so we left in a bit of a hurry. No complaints.

I don't give 5 stars very often so don't be put off by the 4, I think this is a great place for breakfast. Cowboy Cafe is clean, reasonably priced and well located. The service was friendly and attentive. My spouse and I both ordered egg platters which were well cooked and tasty. The hewn wood furnishings and portraits of local... More

Small friendly cafe in Medora with old cowboy photos all over the wall. Staff were great as was the service. Just had a breakfast in here, bacon, eggs and toast and it was good.

If you enjoy small town with character, Medore is a sure bet. We had dinner at the Cowboy Cafe and enjoyed it so much. The atmosphere was in character with the town, there were plenty of selections on the menu, the service was good and the pizza was exceptional. Great experience!

Atmosphere!! photos of cowboys on the wall. Hometown restaurant with western flair. Serves great breakfasts - egg dishes, pancakes, waffles, etc. Large parking lot. Across the street from Rough Riders Hotel.

If you're looking for a breakfast with greasy eggs and hash browns along with weak coffee this is the place for you. I should have used a napkin to sop up the grease from the eggs. Would have needed another to wrap around the potatoes to remove it. And I never drink coffee black; but had to here. And it... More
