Reviewed yesterday NEW

We have gone here many times for lunch and have gotten great food. A real attraction is the store. A little off-the track.

Our server tonight was Hannah. She was very courteous. Food was excellent. I had the meatloaf with fried okra, cheese grits, brussel sprout and kale salad with biscuits. My husband had the two pork chop special with mash potato (no gravy), corn and cornbread. My dinner was great but I scraped off the ketchup glaze from the meatloaf - it... More

While the service was very good, the food was rather tasteless. I had chicken & dumplings: needed to add quite a bit of salt. Corn was not sweet. Biscuits: excellent!

Three of us ordered the fish dinner. Bread was included and all chose corn bread. Meals were delivered without bread. When I later called over server he said that he forgot. Later came back and said corn bread was 5 minutes from being done. When it finally came it was not very good. We also had to call him over... More

We both had breakfast with the sides of biscuits, gravy, grits and apples. The only thing I didnt like was the turkey sausage.

Close to our hotel, Comfort Inn on Lucky Ln. we did not have far to go on a cold, snowy night in January. A perfect place to warm up, love the fireplace, love the food here. And the perfect dessert completed the comfort, the apple dumplin the best!!

It was a turnoff as the waitress directed all questions or comments to my husband. He noticed it as well. I would have preferred not to leave her a tip but we always leave one. Thank goodness we don't ever need to go back.

We absolutely loved the salad/soup lunch deal for $5.99 that we had for dinner each night after visiting the Grand Canyon. This Cracker Barrel was right next to our hotel, so it was very convenient for us to visit. The waitstaff was very nice and accommodating. We never thought we would like a Cracker Barrel, but our visit to this... More

I have family and friends who absolutely love Cracker Barrel. They are good but typical dinner faire. Though, I would say a step up from Denny's and others that are similar. A good place to stop while traveling.
