Rude staff, expensive but stale food. Tiny portions. They have counter service, with no room for the line that forms and cramps everyone's table. They took 10 minutes to put my order into their tablet based POC system.

This French restaurant located in a strip mall next to a nail salon, was an amazing surprise. The small, quaint restaurant served outstanding French cuisine. The tables were elegant, the waitstaff impeccable, the food beautifully presented and delicious. We tried foods we had never had before or never prepared this way before. Highly recommend it!!!

Found myself at Coppa Cafe after hearing about how good the food was from some friends. My fiancee and I had the tasting menu and were blown away by how amazing everything was. From mesquite pasta and veal to the chocolate souffle, each bite was impeccable. Can't wait to go back.

I was in town just for an overnight visit and decided to treat myself to dinner at the Coppa Cafe. The atmosphere was quaint, quirky, artsy, and inventive. The presentation of every portion of my meal was brilliant. The real treat however was the depth and perfection of the complex flavors in everything I ate. Unexpected combinations that worked together,... More

I would give them 10 stars. Chef Emeril said recently one good judge of good restaurant is to try their soup. CHECK. Then let's move on to a fresh salad. CHECK. Main? Sides?Desert? CHECK. CHECK. CHECK. I have said it before and will say it again, Coppa serves magic food.

Went for dinner with my boss. I walked in for a 6pm reservation and was underwhelmed by the decor but when the service started, I understood. This was authentic French food (I've been to France a number of times) at its very best. They had a selective menu made from locally sourced suppliers. The food was AMAZING. We got the... More

With family and friends we enjoyed an outstanding Sunday brunch. Coffee fresh and delicious as were the poached eggs and side of french fries.

If you value a truly terrific dining experience, go to the Coppa Café. First - upon entering you are warmly greeted by people who are truly happy to see you. Then you sit at a table with soft jazz playing in the background and your server comes over who is as professional as any server I've ever had. Think European... More

This little restaurant is perfect for the adventurous who want to have a meal that will be unlike anything they have ever had before. The ambience is comfortable and eclectic. The service is top notch with 3 people, including the owner, seeing to you constantly. I am not going to detail our meal but I am going to say JUMP... More

I had the clay baked duck egg and besides being most delicious, it was almost to pretty to eat! My daughter had the brioche crusted cod and was very happy with the light crust and cod cooked to perfection.

Coppa is a European-style cafe/bistro set amidst the mountains of Flagstaff serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. While northern Arizona might at first seem an unlikely dining destination for serious epicureans, Coppa Cafe's combination of talent and unconventional procurement methods have set the small, casual eatery atop the "can't miss" list of every discerning foodie from Phoenix to Santa Fe.

Choosing to go against the grain of the franchise and chain restaurants often found in smaller-town America, husband and wife owners and chefs Brian Konefal and Paola Fioravanti instead favor house-cured meats, ingredients locally procured from nearby farms and ranches and foraged foods found in the forests around Flagstaff to incorporate into their dishes. Though their procurement methods might seem unconventional for the region, their talents are rooted in tradition, following lifelong culinary careers spent crisscrossing Europe and the U.S., Training under the tutelage of some of the finest and most decorated chefs in their respective countries.

As Coppa's tagline states, the tiny, intimate venue offers "a taste of Europe in the mountains of Flagstaff," and the culinary team prides itself on providing just that through balancing local finds with progressive techniques, resulting in an unprecedented, sophisticated and pilgrimage-worthy experience.
