We bought our coffee here each day during a recent visit to Flagstaff. Four people; four very different coffee drinks and all made perfectly.

We spent an o-so-short 3hrs in Flagstaff, back in October, including a relaxed coffee break at Late For The Train. A good choice. Delicious coffees, genuinely friendly people, individual/quirky décor - not a hint of Corporate Coffee anywhere. We loved it. Seating indoors and out,...More

Had a fireman's mocha - dang, they aren't kidding it's spicy! But excellent and a large array of baked goodies that looked delicious. Parking is a challenge as is most of the places in downtown Flagstaff, which recently started charging for parking. RUDE. But good...More

Thanks for stopping in and braving the new downtown parking program. We love sharing flavors of the southwest with our customers. Glad you enjoyed it. See you next time!

Nice little spot for fresh ground, brewed coffee and many different kinds of tea. Good helth and proteen bars too. Eat inside or out. Cool tables with umbrellas and in a nice social environment.

Great coffee, way better than starbucks. Parking is a challenge but the coffee is certainly worth it.

Stopped in after lunch on a cool summer day for a mocha. They had 5 different mochas! The staff were great offering suggestions and explaining the flavors. Inside and outside seating. Some homemade muffins and scones sold also.

Tasty coffee! Very nice staff. They had a nice selection of pastries and yummy looking breakfast burritos though I didn't get any. Nice inside seating and outdoor, though I wish the had umbrellas. It was hard to read my book outside.

Stopped in, grabbed an espresso to see how they did it and was impressed. A good roast and a great shot. Not much more to say.

On my way out of Flagstaff, I stopped here for a cold espresso drink. The staff recommended the cold brew coffee with coconut (as I still wanted a drink that tasted like coffee!) It was very good cold brew. The atmosphere seemed very nice, and...More

Late For The Train first opened in 1993 with the downtown Flagstaff cafe and they started roasting their own coffee not too long after, in 1996. Now there are three locations in the Flagstaff community that are supported by their first rate coffee roastery. Over the years they have maintained a level of quality that set them apart from the beginning. In addition to locally roasted quality coffee they offer a unique blend of mochas and chais, such as the Spicy Chai Latte where they give India’s national beverage a taste of Arizona with a touch of spicy peppers. The Coconino Mocha is a rich treat--ultra smooth and made in-house with premium chocolate and their hand-crafted cold-brewed coffee.
