My friend and I went there and had a very delicious German meal. The various German Beers were great and the atmosphere was authentic. We had a great time and would recommend anyone who likes German food to go. The parking may be a problem...More

Thanks for the nice review, Frank. I don't think that many places have displays memorabilia as we do. Or German classic dishes are very popular along with our steaks and seafood. The free valets do a great job of welcoming customers. We also have validated...More

We did not expect to find a German restaurant in Springfield. Having just returned from Saxony, we wanted to give it a try. The restaurant was very busy, but service was brisk and efficient. Nice Germanic decorations inside. Great German and local beers. Food not...More

We ordered the out through Dine and deliver. Been wanting to try Student Prince for a while. We ordered the bratwurst dinner and sauerbraten dinner, both came with two sides, all I can say is big disappointment! Delivery was fantastic just wish our order was...More

We appreciate your review, and hope to learn from our mistakes. The chef has been informed of your unhappiness with the squash. We are just starting to work with Dine and deliver. We made a mistake on the menu relative to the potato dumpling. The...More

We went with a party of six. Substitutions were a "no-no". Menu choices limited. It took forever to get our food. Then it took forever to pay our check. If you have nothing to do for hours and don't really want a choice in menu,...More

We appreciate your taking the time to review the establishment. We do allow substitutions. Several new servers have been hired and perhaps we allowed an improperly prepared server to wait on your group. We would like you to give us another chance. Could you drop...More

Cannot come up with enough great superlatives to describe The Student Prince. Driving through to New Hampshire we wanted something way above fast food off I-90. Search revealed this gem, even though it was 6 miles out of our way. So glad we made the...More

Keith, we appreciate your nice review. Thank you! Schnitzel is German soul food and a great choice when confronting hot and muggy weather. Our Mac and cheese is delicious and just a tad different from most versions of the dish. While beer might come to...More

A great place to go with a group. Fun atmosphere, great food, pleasant wait staff. I can't eat there enough. If you visiting the area, do not pass this restaurant by, you will regret it.

Thanks for the nice review! Schnitzel has been a top seller on Fort Street for over 80 years. Our other most popular main course is scrod. We enjoy watching groups enjoying themselves. We hope that we will see again on Fort Street.
