We stopped here on our way out of town. The place is small but we were seated right away at about 10 am on a Sunday. Portion sizes were perfect, not too big or small. Staff was super friendly as well!

We made a pilgrimage to The Mixing Bowl for brunch today. Glad we did! My husband and I tried the Cali-BLT. “Incredible “!!! We were loving the presentation on the plate as it arrived, and after tasting it, it is now my favorite dish!

We stopped in for brunch with friends, and have found our new favorite spot! I had the Ranchero Burrito. The burrito was good, and the addition of the poblano pepper sauce made this fish extraordinary.

I am sorry there was confusion about what you wanted to order. I remember your order and my staff explaining her side of the conversation. However, our regular fries are not gluten free, but the sweet potato fries are. I hope that you visit us...More

Small eatery more like a coffe house. The menu had varied offerings. All were not inexpensive. Hubby liked his breakfast burrito. My omelet was just OK. I ordered the hash browns to go with the omelet and they were run of the mill frozen fare.

We come here a lot for breakfast and love the biscuits & gravy and the breakfast burrito! The prices aren't too bad and the portions are large. Our boys love the chocolate chip pancakes! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that they...More

Description
The Mixing Bowl was created to fulfill a desire to provide the Gering Valley with home cooked yet elevated food. Inspired by Midwest German cuisine, Chef Jamie offers a menu specializing in home cooked food just like Grandma used to make, while also offering diners more contemporary fare like eggs Benedict, fish tacos, and chili relleño grilled cheese. Coffee lovers also enjoy a full coffee bar, with specialties like the Monument Mocha and the Devonshire.
