This was our first time to try pupusas and they were delightful. I can't remember what else we had but everything was delicious. Minor disappointment is that service seemed a little slow despite not being too crowded. Would still recommend.

These were the first pupusas we had. Found them to be tasty and interesting, but nothing special. The restaurant is simplicity personified, nothing fancy here. And also very reasonably priced; dinner for two $20 including tip.

A special find in the land of many great restaurants. I would recommend anything on the menu depanding on your tastes. I was pleasantly surprised even with the previous great reviews as it was even better than expected.

This was the first time we'd had pupusas, and they were delicious! Our favorite was the shredded beef (very good flavor). We also loved the chile and cheese and the pork. The pork, bean and cheese was okay and the one with the flowers was our least favorite (not bad, just tasted kind of bland). The horchata was not our... More

Large selection of pupusas which are corn pancakes stuffed with types of filling. We had the chili cheese, shrimp, loroco and chicken but it was hard to tell the difference. The corn pancakes were tasty but filling was lacking. Aguas Frescas available. Horchata was a bit watery. Fried plantains were delicious with a thin cream and savory beans. Attached to... More

We wanted some pupusas, and this was a great place to get them. They have a large variety (maybe 10 types?) and a large Salvadorian menu. I don't remember seeing beer on the menu. It's not a swanky place, but it was delicious and clean. My husband ordered the carnitas platter and it looked great. The fried plantains were also... More

Other reviews have really covered the basics - great, authentic food in a clean and friendly atmosphere. It's not much to look at...but don't drive by. It's hard to find this kind of food so stop and enjoy! I've added some photos to give a sense for what it's like. I was here around 6:30 on a Saturday night and... More

Ordered a BLT sandwich & it was Delish! The French Onion soup was pretty good, as well. Good service, for a change. Nice, outdoor seating. Recommended for lunch!

The pupusas and tamales are unbelievably good here. As someone who has been to many pupusarias in North America and El Salvador, this place may have the most authentic/delicious pupusas north of El Salvador. Why? Pupusa highlights: - Proper amount of cheese and meat/bean proportion. - Pupusa outsides are not greasy. - Cortido was spot on. While I've never seen... More
