First time here but won't be the last. The guacamole prepared at your table is excellent. We didn't find the food over the top with spiciness. Very nice flavor and just enough kick. Not your typical New Mexico Mexican food. It's usually too spicy for our taste. This was good. Our friend said the margarita was very tasty. Good service... More

When I'm in Santa Fe/Los Alamos, I try to eat at Gabriel's at least once. Last week I tried the combo dinner with the tamale and burrito. Both were outstanding and I definitely had to get a "go" box. Excellent food, great service, good prices.

My wife and I decided to go here for Mothers Day without a reservation. We took a chance and when we arrived, we only had about a 30 minute wait and it was well worth the wait. We were seated inside near the kitchen was was an exciting eperience to observe in itself. The wait staff, busboys and even the... More

I don't get the negative reviews, this place was outstanding in every way. The table side guacamole was out of this world. Our entire meal was lick the plate good. Service was excellent, multiple people made sure we wanted for nothing. Even their silver margarita was good with a nice amount of tequila. Not a taco place, be daring and... More

From arriving to leaving we had a wonderful experience. Our wait staff was very accommodating, bringing me the mole sauce to sample before I ordered, to the recommendation of the crab dish and "best tiquilla" for our margaritas. We had table side guacamole, which was the best I've ever had, served with warm tortilla chips. This gem is just a... More

I told myself I wasn't hungry just bored on a long business trip. Ordered the enchiladas valderas (sp?) with a squash filling and ate every bite! Beautiful outdoor seating as well.

This restaurant feels like it's a bit out of town near camel rock. This is a large Mexican restaurant on the patio. We enjoyed the artwork on the walls. My husband got the chimichanga which was his favorite meal of our trip. My chicken fajitas were great. I loved how thin they cut the vegetables. Great meal. We would go... More

Had dinner for Cinco DeMayo with friends. We like to go here at about once a month. That will change after this visit. First, the service by the wait staff was terrible. No on would take our order and we had to ask to see our waiter to order. When we requested more pico, it's was like ???? and it... More

I went two years ago to visit this quaint restaurant. I had the yam with black bean poblano mixed in the enchiladas. Awesome.
