Not too touristy which is a plus in trendy Santa Fe. Some locals present. Food was good not great but we're not big fans of the SW style so take that into consideration. Best part of the meal was the anejo tequila (arteNOM 1146) which is hard to find anywhere. Fast service.

La Choza was very close to our hotel, so we figured we'd give it a try. It got good reviews from other people and those were well deserved. I wouldn't say that the food is awesome, but it is solid, tasty fare at good prices. The service is very friendly and the space is fun, cheerful. A good place for... More

This was our first stop after arriving in Santa Fe. We planned to eat somewhere on the plaza but the wait was over an hour everywhere so we decided to try this place. The atmosphere was fun and the decor was Santa Fe festive. We ordered the chips & salsa/guac combo and some margaritas. I had the green chile stew... More

Popular with locals, this family owned restaurant is the place to go for great tasting, New Mexican cuisine. The menu features a variety of dinners including some of the best red and green chile dishes in Santa Fe. Parking is free and they're open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, but make a reservation or be prepared to wait... More

My long-time SF friends took me here and they were right. Great green, small and friendly, very friendly. I've dined there several times and recommend you ask the wait staff for recommendations. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Top marks!

I had lunch here upon a recommendation from a local. I am so glad I tried it. I can't wait to go back for dinner. The food is delicious, the menu is fantastic and the staff is attentive and friendly.

Four of us went to this restaurant and I must admit the service and food was excellent. I ordered the chili rellenos and they substituted the Mexican Rice with their Pozole Soup. This was the best Mexican food that I have ever eaten anywhere. The service was also excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it is my favorite in... More

The margarita with a kick made the one hour wait in the crowded entryway easier to handle! It gets crowded, so arrive early. The food is worth the wait, and everything I tried was great. My only complaint is the posole was too watered down for my tastes.

Dined at Lo Choza with a friend for the first time and enjoyed the New Mexican fare. I had the blue corn chicken tacos. They were served more like enchiladas, covered in a nice green chile sauce. They were served with beans and posole. Very nice flavors with just a little heat. My partner ordered the fish tacos on blue... More

Last time we came here they did not accept reservations, miso we did not make one. Thirty minutes later we we placed in their summer tent annex which is bland barn like and chilly. Twenty minutes later a wait person came for our order. We had to ask a staff member to turn up the heat. What did not like is... More
